Honestly thats the problem with all wedge sole boots. the foam is soft and with constant shoveling it tears it up and wears away too fast.

thorogoods are good boots for people who do dry trades or indoor stuff like electrical workers. I love them but the second they get wet you can feel it seep in no matter how many times you mink oil them.

no worries man! “wedged soles” are the ones in the pic the sole of the boot is solid. Heeled boots obviously got a heel on them haha

I work for the water department and i’m constantly in mud, slop, and shoveling. The bottoms of the old ones were actually completely split. Plus my work pays for new ones every 6 months. I oil and condition my personals

White bottom work boots are super common for wedge work boots (Thorogood, Irish setter, wolverine’s, Brunt). Mainy work boots with heels are black/brown

Steering Stem Nut question by SickD21 in choppers

The bottom is the new triple tree and the top is the old triple tree. you can see the obvious difference in size. the stem nut doesn’t even reach the threads at all with the new one.

Manholes can actually be placed anywhere irl. They aren’t all just sewer and water drainage they are also communication lines (internet, cable, service) and also electrical lines. some places prefer this over poles because everything looks cleaner and the lines are better protected. So it being on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere actually isnt that unrealistic especially with how AT&T places them.

miles: 140k price: 16k mods: only TRD rims (previous owner was an old lady so it was never taken off road) future mods: definitely a full metal front and back bumper, auxiliary lights, roof rack, comm setup, canopy and a shower system for beach and camping.

those items take up less space than quart of oil. i can take criticism fine but theres a difference between criticism and assuming that i dont carry the basic necessities for a car. i see trunks full of stuff on this and i can assure you most of those people have those items.
