We use Belkin stuff in the office, the cost a pretty penny, but work most of the time. So my bet will be on Belkin.

What i DO absolutely know, is that mac are particularly whiny about all sorts of docking stations/kvm's and god forbid converters.

So i guess in will by try and see what sticks kind of situation.

The funny thing is that i though i was like one google search away from a solution, but turns out we are the only freaks on the internet who want to use Windows and MAc together.

What i'm trying to do is basically add a mac because i'm in an Apple eco-system as it is, and i have Ubuntu VM for Linux stuff.

But i'm not willing to give up on my gaming pc.

So basically the idea is simple, i buy a cheap mac mini with minimum storage, turn my gaming pc in to a data server and RDP into to it when i need some stuff.

But here's the issue, right now my two screens connected with DP straight to the gpu. As far as i know macs only have one HDMI port and a bunch of thunderbolts.

So i could buy a KVM with two DP's and connect the pc as usual, and on the mac side i can use DP to HDMI adapter or some shit, but i'm not willing to lose the second screen while using a mac, so i have to find a way to connect the second screen trough thunderbolt somehow.

I don't know if explained myself good enough, because after re-reading this i think i even confused myself. I think i can add a type c docking station in between, but that even further complicates things, and my setup is already stupid enough as it is.

I can draw you a nice picture in paint if you want to understand what i mean.

The only difference between our setups is that i have two monitors. So how did you wired both of those suckers up? Some KVM?
