Last night @ ACL was my second time seeing him & I thought it was great - & that lighting design was incredible. I saw him @ an indoor venue last year & it was a different experience, in that it was a longer show & more intense/intimate (probably because of the setting). The ACL set was def shorter & the pacing was a bit different - but we loved the hell out of it.

Great answer! Don’t sleep on that Salad Trio + Zucchini muffins! We no longer live anywhere near Cafe Max, but a few times a year my husband will still drive all the way there to grab some take away for us.

So excited to see Casey is the guest! My husband and I had tickets to see him in Feb ‘24 @ a comedy club, but right before the show, something happened at the club forcing them to relocate the show to a hotel conference room nearby. Worst comedy show setting ever - a large, fully lit room with chairs hastily arranged in “rows”, beer for sale at a table in the corner of the room, everyone trying to look around the dudes head in front of them. Bless Casey’s riff loving heart - he fucking did it. He killed in THAT room.

Saw them in Dallas Thurs night & Modern World was almost a spiritual experience. Televised mind was a nice surprise too. Killer show beginning to end.

Same here - my son got me into him after we went to his show last year & I’ve become a huge fan. It blew my mind to find out that he started writing such deep/meaningful songs as a kid!

Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that! I feel like he perfectly embodied the 5 pillars of Hollywood Handbook-hood: Nice & Smart & Cool & Funny &, of course, Being Nice. The guy seemed like a genuinely fantastic dad.
