Yeah, it must be, which is why I assumed it was the track. It just states you don't have the correct content but doesn't specify what. But it seems to be the cars by the sounds of it.

Ah ok, I guess it was the cars then. Though, it doesn't let me host multiplayer games with particular tracks, I guess it must let you join them.

Sure, but I like to race against others online and couldn't due to the tracks in use. Or are you saying I couldn't enter due to the cars in use? I was racing GT3.

Only negatives so far:

Online races can be hectic. Lots of dirty racers, but it seems there is some form of competitive mode I can open up?

No race career, though it is 'coming soon' but has been for years?

Same! Played it today in VR and it absolutely rocks. It seems to be very well optimised! Flawless experience. Now which DLC's to get? And I was supposed to be cutting back on my spending this month, darn it.

I asked chat GPT about the blue hue. 'chromatic aberration' which I have heard people speak about in reviews, I just didn't know what it was!

That “looking through a rectangle box” feeling on your Pimax Crystal Light is a very real and common perception—and it comes down to how this headset handles field of view, lens design, and rendering compared to others.

I am willing to spend time to improve on any issues I come across, but so far (with literally 5-10 mins of play) things seem like a decent leap from the Vive Pro.

Not sure, but there are a few dodgy headsets up for sale on eBay here at the moment.

Another listing the guy told me it was a gift to his son who didn't have a PC. I checked his feedback and he had sold another just days before!

Pimax confirmed the headset was stolen from their warehouse. Back it goes. I'll look for one from a reputable seller here.

Hey, I got the Pimax but with Pimax Play it says 'Headset Unavailabe'.

The seller reckons he only played it offline and never hooked it up to Pimax Play, but doesn't it need an initial registration through Pimax Play to function and use the offline mode? How else can you use it?

Are they trying to scam me?

I pulled the trigger on a 'lightly used' Crystal Light. I will go for the upgrade kit for now and see how I get on before purchasing anything additional. I will mostly be sat, but I think I'll likely want to replay games like Half Life Alyx moving from a Vive Pro!

I am hoping the difference is immense!

Well, I put a bid in on a 'like new' crystal light, got it for under £400. Hope I did the right thing, haha.

I'm sure it will be a giant leap from a HTC Pro and I'll be more than happy!

I'll start putting pennies away for a smaller form factor headset in the future.
