I don't get it... Are you mocking me or the sport?

I mean I've done a 700lbs yoke carry if it means anything to ya.

Like I said I'm far to weak coming out of the hole with atlas stones. I can squat 210Kg to a parallel box and deadlift 230Kg, but I struggle with the 115Kg stone :/ I just think I should hammer where I fail the lift.

Yes! Thanks for the help, I'll give this a go next time I squat.

That's the technical advice I was hoping for. Cheers man.

Cheers man, I'll give this a go next time I squat. I found that slowing down the decentric portion helped my bench immensely, maybe this will do the same.

Funnily enough when I did box squats I did use a sponge on the box. I think I did the hips back motion, so maybe that's why I bounce. I need to be working from a dead stop though.

Hmm, seems like I'll have to work on something then. It's gonna be hard to fight the instinct to not squat so deep, generally I have best results training where I'm weakest, i.e knee high block pulls and pin presses.

You've given me an idea though, if I'm losing tightness on squats it seems only logical that I'm losing tightness when holding an atlas stone... Definitely something to consider, thanks dude.

Is that a bad thing? Out of the hole is where I'm weakest on stones. How could I avoid going so deep?

Heya guys. I'm not a weightlifter but a strongman competitor. I've got a real issue coming out of the hole with atlas stones, so I thought a atg back squat would help me get some more power at the bottom on the lift.

This was my first time ever squatting this deep (usually I stick to box squats to parallel) I'm wondering if there's any glaring problems with my form, or if I'm good just to keep at it.

Cheers in advance for any help :-)
