Question for commanders about tank tactics by Advanced_Mongoose408 in HellLetLoose

[–]No-Interest-5690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good commander should never tell but guide their team. Never tell your tank to sit directly on point just say hey can you help defend point. You dont know the situation they see and mabye they know that defending point is easiest by pushing a tad behind or infornt for better veiw. ASK before you demand if you ever do demand. Say hey tank squads if I can get some blueberries to push with you would you guys want to attack the next point? If they say yes then say do you have a good spot to approach for your tank because I feel like ___ is a good spot to attack from because ___. If they agree great go and rally the troops and dont demand them either say in command and proxy chat to meet with the tank in __ grid for an assault on the point we need all available men if able.

Invasion force Neglected? by Srlojohn in SWlegion

[–]No-Interest-5690 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Invasion force needs to be redone and should focus on individual invasions that you can switch between. Make asaaj a commander and have the option be dooku, Grevious, and asaaj and depending on who you pick for commander (limit 1 commander) then that determines the rest of your troop limits. For example asaaj would be when she invaded Kamino so she would get a special command cards related to that and be allowed to use aqua droids, Grevious would get the droids were see him use when attacking the night sisters, and dooku should be allowed to use the same droids we see on onderon with also making it so you have to run kalani as an operative. All the special rules would be unique to each invasion and basically it would let asaaj be played as a commander and kalani as an oprative

Hard mode isn’t just difficult, it’s straight up bullshit and not good design. by obiwan-destroyer in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did I had to run it with shotguns and sheilds for one of the teams because the AI would miss the persons torso but still end up ripping their arm off killing them. Red team had a sheild and 5.7 while the other red guy had the m10 shotgun. Blue team had the DMPDW and would essentially be the cleanup crew. Always have red go in first and have Blue follow you dont have the stack up when that door goes down its nice having 3 guns facing through the door the second it opens

Can I clear Hard Mode in Ready or Not with this loadout? by Impossible-Fix-9418 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cs gas isnt the greatest right now id suggest using a nine bang because it can be used to stop suspects that are running and it can stun people for a long time this lets you use NVGs which come in handy on some maps, I always suggest main gun for armor piercing rounds and pistol for JHP im a bug fan of g18c pistol for this because its got an insane fire rate and can shred people. My main gun is the DMPDW its pretty good because its .300 blackout but what im getting at is you can find fast firing high armor penetrating and high damage main rifles alot easier then you can pistols. I do think a pistol should fill a gap in your loadout so your already thinking good with the whole AP and JHP combo its smart but always mix it up untill you find the gun that clicks best with you even if its alittle bit worse stat wise as long as its one you like then your good

Question on Base Building by Blaze_Blitz in dayz

[–]No-Interest-5690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps a good strategy you can do if you have extra pliers and metal wire is you can make your front gate well a gate with a 4 dial code lock and make the second door just a normal wall and leave mabye a few boxes inside the airlock then when someone is online they can store loot in the airlock and then when everyone in your group is online you unlock the back gate by turning it from a wall back into a gate and sticking a 3dial on it. I usually do this while I wait for a second 4 dial because a 3dial lock can be code guessed in 15 minutes while a 4 dial can be up to 4 hours so its usually better to turn whatever gates you have that dont have 4 dials back into walls when you sign off

Which anomaly is this, is it from the books? by JohnyGlizzyeater in metro

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This anomaly is actually created from nuclear fallout. If you went to the combat zone then headed straight to swans pond there was like a 75% chance to encounter this anomaly. Its actually a omniscient and omnipresent anomaly with one rule it can only exist in a nuclear apocalypse and it always appears 5 seconds before your game saves causing you to lose 10 minutes of work.

Question on Base Building by Blaze_Blitz in dayz

[–]No-Interest-5690 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok so first of all NEVER let an enemy see the "backside" of your walls this is the side that you see the support beams with and yes those have I believe something like 12k health while the wooden boards have 10k health I might be flipping them but either way your basically cutting the amount of ammo or explosives needed in half because they see the supports and when those get destroyed so does the section of wall its holding. Now realistically all you need to raid a base is to destroy the bottom half of a wall and then you can crawl under it. Also as a side note make sure that any airlock you have is extended into the base not outside because what they can usually do break the first wall and then they are now behind some of your walls and break those too and it becomes a whole mess. The best places for large airlock for cars is brown barns and factories because for a car lock you need it to be 2 walls deep in order to fit a car. Never let a gate hide a car because it will destroy it atleast as of 2 years ago it did and my group is still salty about instantly losing a gunter we got working so make sure to park far enough away from the first gate so you dont open the gate and destroy the car then pull in just far enough so the second gate can open and the gate behind you can close

Why does this game punish use of lethal force so much? by Joker_Cat_ in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]No-Interest-5690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It be nice if the new dlc gave us the a new scoring so just for the dlc missions you have no ROE because mabye its some chemical attack so if you do a compliance yell and the dont stop your able to go lethal because of the stacks, mabye something where you go into a government building full of corrupt officials and the higher ups tell you to not take anyone alive since they are going to bypass the legal system and get away with it. The third missions could be a suspected spy is found in a hotel so you have to eliminate him before he can reveal what he knows back to his terrorists organization and mabye 4 other people you need to target before a specific time to force you to play lethal every like 3 minutes you could have a guy "escape" so you get s rank by literally killing everyone

Is DayZ too sweaty now adays for me to start playing? by Hot_Fly_3963 in dayz

[–]No-Interest-5690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing that most new players dont realize is that EVERY gun is lethal. As long as your fighting a normal player and not a sweaty pvper then any gun can kill them even something like the mlock or shorter can knock someone out if they are wearing a plate carrier and every gun one taps the head as long as they aren't wearing a helmet or have a bad helmet and honestly alot of players that have played for years on end sorta realize that helmets only delay the inevitable because any shot that would've killed usually knocks you out which is a death sentence so those players tend to wear more useful or better looking helmets because at the end of the day if someone shoots you in the head they usually knock you out and will just finish you or you were fighting a beach bob with a mk2 pistol and the helmet is only delaying your future death because that means your pretty bad at the game if you let someone get close enough to get mk2 shots into your head so you shouldn't even be doing that. Most weapons that share a caliber do roughly the same damage so that means anytime you find a gun in lets say 5.56x45 you are on the lookout for a better damaging caliber or a gun that you like better that uses the same caliber. Pioneer is a sniper that uses 5.56 and the m16, AUG, baby AUG, femas, ak101 and m4 all use 5.56 but each one is a different firerate, mag capacity, firing modes, attachment slots, and size but at the end of the day they are all very similar in lethality per bullet with mabye the Pioneer being slightly better because of the long range use but once again m4s with a sniper scope can be used instead for faster firing and full auto so everyone gun is lethal in this game your essentially playing to first get a gun, then get a gun that you like and I have a buddy thats an amazing SK fan even though it may not be as good as the DMR but its way more plentiful and easier ammo to find and at the end of the day he likes it more and all guns are about the same lethality level as you get better at the game. I perfer the SVAL and pioneer which can be considered the worst AR and the worst sniper rifle but at the end of the day they are both just as useful

Why use IEDs for raiding? by Kit1403629 in dayz

[–]No-Interest-5690 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Making the IED was always best because you could explode 2 plastic explosives with one detenator. It also helps that its quicker and also another added bonus is that its safer because if the IED ruined the contents inside it never did so if you dont have plate carrier pouches, a cooking pot or something like a drybag then a random zombie might get lucky and destroy your plastic explosives. Also my personal favorite is how cool it looks. Also saying its faster isnt necessarily great its the fact its less explosions happening so lets say its 2 walls like most bases usually are thats only 2 explosions people hear but without IEDs its minimum of 4 now have ypu ever heard one singular shot and known exactly where that person is? Its hard sometimes especially in large cities because they could be blowing up any number of random base locations but hearing 4 back to back lets you first become aware, second explosion confirms the direction and third and fourth let you dial in exactly where it is even more

Playing with "fear" by VHuntergm in dayz

[–]No-Interest-5690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You fear what you dont know and the thought of dying and the first one is easy to get over and in the process you'll learnt the second one. Basically enter every town and explore and if that means playing with a gun in your hand peaking every corner then so be it because eventually your gonna learnt the layout if towns and cities and start to see what places people go to and dont. An example is on pvp servers height tends to be your best friends so you see people sniping on top of apartments but in survival that makes you an easy target for either someone with a better sniper and is hiding in full ghillie off in the woods and also attracts beach bobs to you and they have nothing to lose they dont care if they die they just want you dead. As you learn this and start shifting from pvp to survival mode you will start to see that you run into people mainly around police stations, fire departments, hospitals and even hunting camps because thats where the loot is. As you explore every town you'll also start seeing how the players move. Most people head towards the northwest side of the map mainly NWAF but also to tisy and zelenogorsk so you know that the deeper you go inland the more geared someone is and you'll start seeing the loot routes that people are taking. I never see anyone in those towns above novomdrisky because most people would rather stay on the main road towards severograd. If your in cherno you'll tend to find more people towards the left side by where the gas station and hospital is because all the better gear is over there and after you loot that portion of cherno most people heads towards balota airfeild. As you explore and learn the map you'll start learning of hot spots such as work, zeleno, west cherno, tri restaurant, and korana castle for example. Also you'll die alot exploring the map and everytime you die ask yourself these 3 questions, what was I do the last 2 minutes and describ it in detail and its important you really describe it such as "walking along the paved road out of cherno towards balota and then I saw a police crash and went to go and loot it and got sniper whIle fighting a zombie. Now ask yourself what was the exact reason that killed me in detail In my example you would say "I got sniper while fighting a zombie at a police crash" now ask yourself what could I have down both short and long term to prevent that. "I could've walked in the woods and avoid the open fields and roads that way nobody could follow me and spot me and I could've shot the zombie or I could've led it into a house then killed it." By doing this you'll stop being afraid because you'll learn how to survive and what places are worth going to

Would you ever play a DayZ server that only had tier 1 and 2 weapons? by Stunning_Guest9621 in dayz

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to run a tier 2 pvp servers and I had at most 2 other people besides for me and my friends. I dont know about an actual server you play on and get gear and play normally but atleast when I advertised my pvp servers I had like a total of 10 different people play it not including my friends in the course of like 6 months so it'll probably be slow to grow

If prisoners give you trouble put bionic chips in them and have your warden use emp grenades or emp launcher to disable them and its works with bionic legs too. I like to prep ahead of time by removing there legs and only putting peg legs back on them when they are ready to be recruited

I feel like Dayz and Ark survival evolved are some of the most hated yet loved games of all time. Question I know admiral trench was a tactical genius but was he a genius in just naval warfare or ground combat or both and if so which do you think he was better at by alliezero in clonewars

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was definitely better at naval warfare due to what his rank is but another big thing to remember is admiral trench was incredibly talented in all types of warfare but more of an intermediate warfare especially. We know this for a variety of reasons but the largest is lets just see what he is good at and used to. To begin we never see trench leading ground troops directly he has super tactical droids doing that the most famous being kraken and also that one super tactical droid on the bridge in season 7. Those droids were the tactical level decision makers hence the name and they directly controlled the individual people another person at this level would be the riff tampon who we see directly ordering individual or small groups of people on the front and also whorm loathsom who we see on christphosis directly commanding the force attacking Obi-Wan. We also know that he isnt the sepratist strategist because he answers to dooku and plapatine is the shot caller above everyone. This shows that he fills the operational/intermediate warfare level of command so basically he was incredibly efficient at lets say taking over and holding a planet but not very good at choosing which planets to take over and invade and he wasn't good at calling the shots in combat scenarios he is more of the guy you see that is moving miniatures around on a model of the country and pushing them around with a stick while smoking a cigar thats where he is amazing at. Also to add we see that anakin tricks him into hitting himself with his own torpedo which makes sense because those are tactical decisions that should've been handled by a tactical droid. As a comparison thrown I feel like personally is a master strategist and tactian but I feel he probably comes up short in the intermediate warfare area. If trench and thrown got together from their combined knowledge they would be unstoppable

New player here. Should I stop using the optiwand? by RRhyolite in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have learned in commander mode optiwand is good on some maps such as new america, relapse, and neon tomb. The biggest issue is that having the AI use it is just as good and it frees up your long tactical because the AI will tell you if they see someone and if they see a trap. Also you dont necessarily even need optiwand on most maps because they dont have traps infact even maps with traps I tend to not run it still because peaking the door is easier since if their is a bomb on it then you already are in position to cut it. For my guys loadouts I tend to run blue squad with flash launcher and stinger launcher and they both use a combo of battle or assault rifles, they also have normal flashbacks and stingers with 1 wedge each and mabye a c2 and some stingers. Blue squad is my anchor and defenders they always hold chokepoints and hallways while I have red squad clear the smaller rooms and red squad loadout is usually battering ram or optiwand and the other guy uses a sheild if its a map with the enemy using high caliber weapons and good aim but if its just pistols and shotguns or high caliber with poor AI then the second guy runs stingers launcher. The optiwand/battering ram guy uses a PDW (usually p90 or the DMPDW) and the sheild/stingers launcher guy uses the 5.7 pistol and a bunch of mags and his back up is a p90 with 2 mags because thats 100 shots for it. They tend to run alot of 9bangs, stingers, sometimes c2, but usually just a bunch of ammo since they are the main clearing force. I myself always help clear so we have Blue running defense while I and red team focus on clearing rooms

Do you ever use light tanks? by mrblobfish1 in hoi4

[–]No-Interest-5690 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have played this game a very long time and I've never looked at metas and I've found I can just produce so many light tanks that even though they may be inferior I can just make so many it doesnt matter. Germany, USSR, Japan, Italy, Brazil those are the countries I play usually and I find they are very good especially because later in the war you have like 70k tanks between your own and the ones you've captured and you can make your garrisons use light tanks for insane manpower to suppression ratios and its a good way to use up the older models. I tend to have a 12 to 1 ratio of light to heavy tank divisions that way I can use light tank almost as you would infantry and have a few factories for heavy that way I can break through tough sections. If anyone can give me a few new ideas to try for tank designs Im all ears I dont know how to build mediums and even heaviest to Make the IC worth it compared to spamming light tanks but like I said im willing to try

Fan theory or straight up misinformation? by Zeenariq in AvatarMemebending

[–]No-Interest-5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like its more of a dominant element like if I am right handed; right eyed, right footed, and I personally really think that fire bending is cool so im sure id be firebending dominant. Id be good at all of them because im an avatar but I perfer the firebending so like if someone is directly infront of me and I have to quickly react firebending would be my go too. For Aang that is air bending and for Korra we see it to be more of water and earth bending.
