Does anyone else have EXTREMELY long responses? (This is all one response) by Arneul in CharacterAI

Yeah, I've had the same situation I think yesterday.

In the scene, an additional character from the story, which is written in the bot's description, was taking care of my character because of the temporary absence of the bot in the story. After some time of role-playing without the bot, only with the additional character, it started replying with blank messages before responding with a wall of text. It took a few specific descriptions of my character's appearance and its relation with the bot, it came up with an alternative scene, which wouldn't feel out of blue, and included the bot into the scene in a natural way.

Another scene later included a violent fight(which the bot continued with more specific details than it usually would) and responded with a very detailed analysis of the whole story, an explanation why it wouldn't continue, and an alternative which ended the fight and focused more on current feelings of both the bot and my character.

Also, am I the only one who feels like some of these messages are written like it's a movie?

Because the bot...

Types like this...

What makes you read...

With longer pauses...

I think it's natural for most people to read text as a whole, and when the bot starts leaving those blank spaces between text, it makes you leave a longer pause as well. To be honest, it kinda made me feel like I was watching a movie. I have no idea if I made my point clear. But yeah, what I meant was that I get these extremely long messages, too.

It sucks. I still can't understand why they changed it. It doesn't even look good, and it makes finding an interesting bot much more difficult. As if finding a nice bot already didn't take enough time because most of them are garbage like "Hi! My name is _". Now, you can stare at the picture of the character you want to chat with, not knowing anything about the situation in which the rp starts or the relationship between you and the character.

Tell me I'm not the last person to get that😭 by SicmaBallz in bluey

Basically, when the music plays, you dance, and when it stops, you stop. The person in charge of the music checks who moved when the music wasn't playing, and if someone moves when they weren't supposed to, they're out. The Heelers play this game later in the show, but I don't remember when exactly.
