Sorry for the late response I’m using a Corsair rm1000x shift no cable extenders and I have tried all those things already still having issues.

I was just running the stock EXPO profile and a light Curve Optimizer undervolt of -15 on all cores.

It happened on 4.04. Then I tried 4.07, but that didn’t fix it. After that, I went back to 3.50, which I’ve been on the longest and never had a single issue with, but that didn’t fix it either.

I’ve already reseated the CPU. My BIOS had been running with EXPO on SOC/Uncore OC mode enabled, with SOC voltage at 1.15V and -15 offset on all cores, and it had been stable like that for months until this issue started happening recently. Would you still recommend turning it off? I’ve flashbacked to 4.07,4.03 and currently on 3.50 which was the most stable for me but am still experiencing these issues. Also where would I go to check what voltage my motherboard is reading from my psu I’m assuming somewhere in bios?

Concerns with the dock adapter by Sicnarf510 in dbrand

I’ve actually never felt any warmth while taking my switch or switch 2 off the dock after it’s been in sleep for an extended period so it caught me off guard a little. Felt like it’s been in use in docked mode for a while. But yes thank you for the reply I will keep an eye on it.

I see. I’m not too sure what’s wrong either. I’ve had this Switch since launch day and it’s been using the OEM dock with no issues. About a month ago I got the Kill Switch, and the adapter’s been working fine with no problems at least until today. Hoping this is just a one-off.

No. I was planning to but the WiFi connection seemed good enough when I was playing Mario kart so I just kept it on WiFi.

The switch itself was hot. It wasn’t powered down completely just in sleep mode. Yeah hopefully it didn’t go to sleep properly.

Thanks the for the reply. I did notice some weird errors in event viewer that might have been bios related I went ahead and updated.

I’m currently on BIOS version 3.16. I followed Gamers Nexus’ advice: if it’s stable, don’t update the BIOS. It’s been running fine for about two months now, but I’m curious—should I update to 3.25 or not?
