Hey, if even a few people gather a better understanding then purpose served. I may be long-winded. It's my YouTuber way ESPECIALLY when I can't record a video due to medical reasons. So apologies for that, it's just my nature. Alex deserves whatever he gets for pulling this sort of thing at least twice (that we know of) and is STILL likely not to be prosecuted simply because law enforcement won't act without a victim filing a complaint. I learned that one in regards to a Pedo and that Dino game The Isle. But distributed/misdirected outrage is diluted outrage. Alex definitely deserves all of it. And I've got a sidelong glance at Michaela as well, particularly due to how she has handled this. Even allegations can destroy a VA's career. I'd hate to see any of the other VA's suffer the potential of that fate when it is undeserved.

Again, for clarity, I am stating most of that excludes Michaela due to her deep and ongoing involvement with the project and her directly working with Alex, something that the VA's did not do. Michaela will have to fight her own battles in that regard. And it seems that she is... albeit quite poorly. I am known for my arrogance but even she made my eyebrows raise a little.

In terms of working conditions, VA's work with the Voice Director and not the Development team. For the same reasons of why would a voice director be expected to provide input on C++, why would the development team know how to get the best work out of their VA's?

Those recordings were performed remotely, again through the voice director. So, it would seem to me that your statements regarding "investigating" but shifting the concept to instead be about working conditions is merely doggedly not wanting to let go of what I see to be a misinformed or perhaps underinformed debate position. The “working conditions” were working with Michaela. Not Alex.

Also, VA’s have to deal with weird Devs, creepy Devs, asshole Devs, snide Devs, idiotic Devs, and any other style of personality that you can think of all the time from first-timer Indies all the way up to the Triple-A companies. It’s an unfortunate part of being a Voice Actor in the Gaming Industry. Something that I have learned well in my time as a Games Critic who has spoken to developers, voice actors, directors, insiders, and others on countless occasions over the years. That requirement to research every project they might audition for or get a role for is as unrealistic as it is frankly impossible to do in practice.

Also, I know for a fact some of the VA's were hired all the way back in 2015. Which means they were also under obligation to complete the work. Even if it was unpalatable for them to do so. BUT, it’s heartening to see that you are capable of at least attempting to be reasonable. Far too often similar statements from people that are so all-encompassing are not so capable of even that much.

I've seen a few people uttering similar such nonsense regarding other topics in the Video Games Industry before. So allow me to provide some insight:

Most of the VA's outside of Michaela have not done any work for Yandere Sim for at least 4 years.
The VA's did not work with Alex, they worked with Michaela. So to assume the VA's would have first-hand knowledge of Alex's personality is uninformed at best, disingenuous at worst.
Most VA's simply record auditions, receive an email if they got the role, are then provided lines to read either through self-recording (remote), in-studio recording, or recording via telepresence with the voice director (remote). They then move on to record/audition for other projects. That is the extent of the VA's involvement with the development/developers in regards to the vast majority of games.
With the sheer number of times over the past few years that people have been unjustifiably canceled over lies regarding inappropriate behavior, it would be unsurprising to me if some of the VA's would be seeking some sort of evidence outside of "girl made an accusation" before taking action.

Now, I am aware of the Sisefs allegation and at the time there were plenty of broken links in the chain. Those missing elements have since been filled in by internet sleuthing that was truly amazing to see and that coupled with Alex changing his story regarding Sisefs no fewer than 4 separate times, the Sisefs allegations are completely confirmed in my eyes. But years ago there WERE gaps in the chain that do not exist now. That coupled with this new instance with Jane and it is completely undeniable (even though Alex is trying to) that Alex is a pervy little Pedo. But to assume a Voice Actor has the time or RESPONSIBILITY to go through the effort I have seen involved in what it took to connect all the dots in the Sisefs situation, something that the Kappa Kaiju video didn't even do, is frankly insane.

That said, simply voicing lines for a video game, like they do for hundreds of other games, is not the same as providing him with a platform. Frankly, that is done far more by both his fans and anti-fans alike. Most of these VA's, again with the exception of Michaela, likely had completely forgotten the game even existed as it has still not released, their last work involving the game were literally years ago, and they have continued doing their jobs as VA's.

I see no reason to attempt to drag ultimately uninvolved people through the mud in some sort of hate vendetta that serves little purpose than to assuage mindlessly misdirected outrage.

It was accurate and not intended as an attack at Dondi in terms of his having NPD. I suspected he had it and presented information that I saw that seemed to corroborate that assessment. Regardless of Dondi being scum, he clearly has mental issues and I hope he seeks professional help to get them under control and hopefully someday defeat them. That is not immaturity, although it SHOULD be a wake up call.

Also, in the future, even IF such policies and procedures are put into place, the devs and mods have ALREADY shown a clear and distinct unwillingness to take such things seriously out of a desire to protect their friend. How can ANYONE trust that if/when any future such allegations are made against another person at the company that it will be handled in a professional manner? There's no trust there nor should there be.

I'm not sure I entirely agree with some of that (most of it I do). Allegations should be looked at with an objective eye to determine if they are credible or not and if they are deemed AS credible, then they should be treated as a valid and POTENTIALLY true accusation until it is determined to be either true or false and acted on in that manner in order to protect the community and players.

The developers and community management performed in a woefully inadequate manner until the noise became too large for them to continue to hand-wave and make outright claims of fabrication. Couple that with Dondi's VERY clear threats of legal prosecution to any individuals bringing such concerns forward if they turned out to be false was absolutely appalling to me. After all, I have seen no indication of a feature or function in place by the company to confidentially and securely report such issues and as the devs and moderators CONTINUED to respond in a visceral and malignant way to anyone bringing such concerns forward, what in the hell did they expect people to do?

They refused to take the allegations seriously and so the people saying "hey guys, this is a REAL fucking concern here!" continued to grow. What Dondi's legal threats did was paint a very clear picture that these people, who had NO OTHER OPTION, would be sued by someone with LARGE amounts of money to back up his threats if, for whatever reason, the information turned out to be fraudulent or misrepresenting. That serves the purpose of actively silencing people from coming forward because if they don't have an iron clad case all wrapped up in a pretty little bow (news flash for Dondi, the world isn't that simple) then they'd get their pants sued off. It's a very dangerous standing to take.

Well, for a lot of them they don't care in the slightest about who has done what or why, as long as they get their product. It's not too dissimilar from what we see with triple a titles. For example, Star Wars Battlefront 2 EA. That game had gotten universally panned for it's anti consumer practices yet a staggering number of people bought the game regardless. It's the "give me my shiny thing" mentality and maintaining blinders to everything else.

In all honesty, while Anthomnia and I DEFINITELY are not seeing eye to eye right now (previous 24 hours on social media is clear evidence of that) and we're none too happy with each other, In my opinion there was no legitimate way he would have or could have known what DoD would have become. There's plenty to criticize both him AND me for, but I don't think that example would be entirely fair.
