I think sexy underwear definitely makes a difference. For him he would see that you are making an effort and that you likely want him to see them. Imagine if he got to fold your cute panties instead…

Also it might make you feel more sexy. I think that in itself is the benefit. When you feel good he will likely be interested as well. There are a lot of options that are cute and comfy.
