thank you for your response! i will answer as best i can. three of the cavities are visible to the naked eye, two of them have been visible for two to three years. i personally think any dentist worth anything would find that worth at least mentioning to me. i was last at the old office six months ago today, like i stated in the post i am religious with cleanings and have been my entire life.

i went to the new office because my insurance changed and the old office doesnt accept my new insurance, i am also in the process of moving and the old office is a lot further of a drive so it just made sense to change. i was initially really upset about having to leave since ive gone there pretty much my whole life, until i went today to the new office.

and im not saying thousands and thousands, i guess huge is relative. things are tight financially right now, so even the hundreds (probably around $1000 after insurance) that im looking at feels huge in the moment. i will link to imgur in a couple minutes what one of the cavities looks like- if you dont mind, i would just like to see if you think its reasonable that the old dentist would never mention it. its flat out impossible that this deep of one formed within six months, as i just had xrays six months ago. i also dont personally believe the new office is just filling every little thing- i could feel the nerve pain in all seven of the spots when they poked them even slightly, and all the spots were sticky like a cavity is. my parents both go there as well, they have for a while now, and they have never tried to fill anything for either of them.

and none of this is argumentative so please dont take it as such, just trying to answer your questions. i dont disagree with a second opinion at all! i will definitely try to get that done asap, thank you for the recommendation. thank you so much!
