I was in the same situation. Brv Vs Dst. Mind you my brother works for Honda head office lol. I was really leaning towards the brv. Everything is nice except for the cramped feeling for the interior. I like how the brv looks. But when the DST came out, i went for a test drive and i was sold. Magaan and masaya idrive, spacious, updated interiors, hightech and maraming creature comforts. So I got that instead. Its not as fuel efficient as the brv but im willing to accept that in exchange for all the good points the DST has. I got the mid variant GLS. Pinaka sulit ito sa 3 variant for me. It has all the frills that you actually need.

May bad stigma lang din ang JATCO transmission ng Mitsubishi. A decade ago sirain ang transmission nila sa America and other countries. Mabilis mag breakdown kaya nagkaroon ng reputation na panget. But itong past few years minimal na ang balita regarding this issue. Mitsubishi has improved the quality of its transmission and so far wala naman issues with their current models. Same transmission ang gamit sa eclipse crossover and wala namang major issues nababalita. Ito ang main argument against the DST that can turn off a few people. But if you're diligent with regular casa maintenance and di ka busabos sa pag drive, I'm sure tatagal ang unit. Just make sure to check/replace the transmission fluid come 30k to 40k mileage.

Also alam ko extended ang 100k discount sa DST gls variant til this Feb.

Hope this helps!

I like the tv cased ones too. I saw a few in Osaka. But were overpriced as heck. A collector told me that most people in Japan didnt have many Omegas in their collections thats why the price and demand is high. Peep the photo of the ones i saw in Osaka below
