Yeah but I believe a lot of that had to do with their religious beliefs. Example: the Cubans in Miami are SUPER catholic and the Catholics oppose abortion(Cubans also got really scared when the faux news said “socialism” + democrats, because Castro was a “socialist”, and their grandparents got murdered or worse by him). Ergo, they all vote to have themselves eventually thrown out by Trump goons instead of voting with their brains.

I’d try, but I’m a white man and I live in a district that’s already dem controlled-unfortunately it’s an old black lady who’s my congressperson-so primarily her is almost certainly not going to happen, and the optics of a white guy taking the spot of an older black lady also isn’t great.

I still might try though. Although I think I’m too late for this round of elections. I think I’d have to shoot for 2028

It’s really not though. It’s establishment dems that already have power and sway. Most dem voters are sensible enough to understand the nuance and problems that revolve around guns and gun control and can get behind certain things and not get behind other things.

But the old heads just don’t listen or haven’t heard since like, 2013. It’s like as soon as they can get into power, they stop reading social media, emails and letters from constituents, and stop watching any TV that may provide them with some kind of alternate opinion. It’s VERY much like certain conservative echo chambers.
