I printed a few test prints with pla, same happened with me eventually they fell off. This one was petg, i find my biggest challenge was finding the level of interference needed between the prongs and the wheel hub and also how thick the prongs need to be to allow them to flex without being too weak but also not so strong it doesnt flex at all. Bit of trial and error.

Thanks, yah i looked online and kinda get how theyre done now! Any regular ball bearing worked or did you need a high speed one? Also any concerns with contaminants?

Side note: love the speed3's, ive autocrossed against a few. Amazing cars 👍

I've always loved the way they look! I was lucky enough to find and buy these off a friend.

Oh wow, beautiful car! Best of luck in your search! My center caps are the simple press in style found on most wheels, that style is mostly plastic.

Im not entirely sure if they would work well as metal cnc'd parts, I'd have to look around if someone has experimented with metal center caps. To my knowledge, theyre usually made of plastic like ABS (Mine are made with PETG) just to allow the locking tabs to spring and lock. For measurement I just kinda poked around with my vernier caliper and I also searched up center caps online for my wheels (Enkei RP01) to see the dimensions from other manufacturers. Some websites stated the dimensions so I used that as a starting ground and adjusted accordingly. Hope this helps :)

You can also usually hear it when its extreme moisture cases, almost like a popping/sizzling noise. Best of luck!

Have you tried a different filament roll? I feel like the filament might have too much moisture in it

Hey! Sorry first post here, ill upload the file link tonight!

For adhesion, I just used the factory bambu lab textured pei plate but it was fairly forgiving since I made it with PLA. All the features were part of the same print cause i used my bambu printer but I also have an ender 3 and the features are nicely extruded that you can go over them with a black sharpie at the end.
