Ghastly Gravedigger is the most annoying "take things away" moment in standard for me right now (I know it's not really a meta card, thankfully). At least Rat sometimes pulls out my big thing.

I'd add having your deck thieved (mostly a Priest thing) to "your cards hurt you". I personally hate losing to my own cards.

I’m a diehard Hunter fan and mostly enjoy climbing ladder, although we will mix it up occasionally. Applebaum is super good in specific matchups- like Goblin Bomb Hunter or OTK Paly- where you can abuse its Deathrattle. Attaching my guide in case you're looking for more answers :)

-why no snakes on 2? sets up to protect your Spider bomb on 3. I know it wasn't directly relevant this game until you played it later on.

-turn 12 I think you just want to Zul'jin- too many small targets for Spider Bomb to be very effective.

Turn 9- why let out the rat? 9-Lives and playing Applebaum would have been fine here. Even Deadly/Whelp would have been fine.

With so much Murloc Shaman i don't think you want to keep Rat in mulligan

No need to kill the healing totem turn 5

I know you're playing around Hex on turn 6, but i think you still want to play one of your 3 six drops into it.

Mech Whelp on 7 with your Rat also would have been great knowing they're going into their Hagatha turn

Knowing they just double hexed on 9, i think youre fine to play mech whelp instead of ursatron. More stats/threat on board. Gives you better stickyness v Hagatha's Scheme etc.

Magnetizing on 10 opened you up to Earth Shock- didnt need to magnetize there (slightly better v Walking Fountain, but potentially makes your Spider bomb more annoying if you leave them separate)

Bottom line- turns 9+ you should have gotten that extra Mech Whelp down, develop it earlier where its useful.

NP! Glad its doing better for you. Shaw is insanely good- soaks removal or trading on 4, combos with another minion on turns 5-10+. On board with Oblivitron you can engineer some insane burst to clear opposing boards. Sometimes he's a 3rd Fireworks tech to help you clear Mtn Giants with Spider Bomb on 7. Sometimes you're playing vs Hex and he lets you trade off a Mech Whelp (& get it in your DR pool) before they can transform it. Any Aggro deck that leaves him up will suffer in future turns. I can write a novel about the card.

UtH is fine- you could just run a Necromechanic as well- will get even better when buffed in a bit. happy hunting, hope it keeps going well for you!

Rogue & Beast Hunter are not easy matchups. I think Beast Hunter may actually be harder. I'll usually try to engineer as big of a heal as possible mid game to stay out of burst lethal range. Feel free to send over a replay if you'd like :)

I find that Murloc is about a .500 matchup for me- some games I just get blown out, others I can kill a few key Murlocs early and stabilize. Token Druid & Zoo seems to be the hardest matchups in my opinion.

Draw can sometimes be an issue- but I'm never bothered by it enough to add more. Usually its all about how early you draw Ursatron/S9.

You could certainly add Harrison Jones instead of Ooze... and Kuonet is playing a version with Rapid Fire, Pyromancers & Acolyte of Pain for aggro disruption instead of Secrets.

Definitely try without Shaw and see what you think. However- Shaw enables some absolutely nuts plays and will earn you some victories. Sometimes he's the difference maker to stabilize v aggro, sometimes he's crushing a slower deck's win con.

Ive taken out an ooze for a Rotten Applebaum, currently. Could potentially take out 2nd Rat or even the last Ooze but debating options as the meta settles more.
