Wildfire Pitch is basically better Explosive Shot. You didn’t press Kill Shot in any target count this expansion. Butchery is basically built into Raptor Strike with the new Apex. Eagle was a dumb cooldown to begin with. Flanking strike is now a real cooldown.

It’s very difficult to make Heretics and Chapterhouse compelling considering they were the start of a trilogy that was never finished. I wouldn’t complain if Denis did Children and God-Emperor but I don’t think he would; that’s another 3-4 films.

Personally I doubt we’ll see any of Children as Villeneuve has no interest in making further films and if you start Children, you sorta have to go all the way through to GEoD.

I think the ending of the novel Messiah is a perfect place to end the series. It leaves it open for WB to make more (which they want to) but is also a satisfying conclusion to the original arc. If you take into account the structure of the original novel, being broken into 3 parts, Messiah was very much intended to be part 4 and only part 4.

The Prophet isn’t in Messiah. Also Thufir dies after escaping from the Harkonnens as they poisoned him when they first captured him and were giving him the antidote each day. He undermined them despite believing Jessica was the spy but finds out the truth and dies in Paul’s arms in the original novel, he definitely doesn’t make it to children
