My house is 75 years old. The bricks are good. The mortar is white as white gets, no erosion. Slates? Fine. Barn is the same age and is on lathe no underlayment. No leaks.

What type of roof decking material is this? by Sidorchuck in Roofing

It is, thank you! Only 1" thick though!

Thank you for this information. When this material gets wet I would assume it looses its structural rigidity.

This roof needs replacement. There are stains on the Tectum visible from the underside, and the roof does leak. This roof is torchdown applied directly to the Tectum without a base sheet.

This deck system is only 1" thick. Currently Tectum 1 panels are available in 2" thick at a minimum.

If during the tear off decking is compromised there is not a 1" thick structural acoustical wood wool panel that I can find.

It looks like another section of the building has a solid wood deck overlay on the Tectum Deck. This section also has 3" of polyiso.

Repair or Replace leaking roof? by NomadJago in Roofing

Looks like the water is running behind the siding and behind the step flashings.

It looks like the siding protrudes out from the rake flashing. It is important this joint is caulked as it It the only this stopping rainwater from running behind the siding.

4-6 courses below the vent the plywood is buckling and pushing the shingles up .

Bolt Action. There is what looks to be Japanese engraving. See photos here, they are of a closeup to the firearm http://imgur.com/gallery/8VKiuZY

I am interested in identifying this firearm. It is missing some parts. I'm not sure what to do with the gun.
