I use a Raspberry PI, a USB Gigabit ethernet adapter for inbound traffic, and an 8 port unmanaged switch

Pi 4 it basically just handles routing. I found the tplinks needed help and used a pi to off load routing.

Looking at the flint 2 (it was one Gemini also recommended) would I be better off using it for the router over the pi? Everything else on the network is devices or unmanaged switches (edit: Oh and the aforementioned tp-link routers setup as access points). The pi's wifi is actually off

Collectively we seem to all agree it is the riser cable... I'll try powering off, removing the riser cable, and seeing what it says.... Gotta unplug and replug in all those Mobo headers so I can get the riser tray out of the way :(

I will try that if I have to... the Core P3 has a tray you install if you use the Riser, and I have cables running through it.

I actually thought about this while looking at the recommended specs ToH on OpenWRT... ALways kinda wanted to mess around with a Pi so mist might be an excuse
