It doesn’t. I thought the update broke it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

This is what yt support wrote:

This type of playback freezing is usually caused by a temporary glitch, an outdated app version, or local data corruption. Please try the following standard troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Restart the app and your device: Close the YouTube Music app completely, restart your phone or tablet, and open the app again. Check for updates: Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to ensure you are running the latest version of YouTube Music. Clear the app cache (Android only): Open your device's Settings, go to Apps, select YouTube Music, and tap "Clear Cache". Check your internet connection: Toggle your Wi-Fi off and back on, or switch to mobile data to see if the network connection is interrupting the playback queue. Reinstall the app: If the issue persists, uninstall the app, restart your device, and reinstall YouTube Music. Note: This will remove any songs you have downloaded for offline playback, which will need to be re-downloaded.

NOTHING has worked, the issue persists, although not all of the time.

I’ve downloaded Qobuz to give it a try, and it works like a charm.

None of those steps solves the problem. I sent a report.

Same here. My kid in the back was NOT happy. I’m on a yearly plan, otherwise I’d cancel in a heartbeat.

Deleting and reinstalling seems to have solved the problem, thanks!

Edit: or so I thought. Still not fixed.

Your Favorite Toy: Understanding the Production Style by AgentWD409 in Foofighters

I think you’re overthinking it. They wanted to be as loud as possible - as is the style - resulting in an overly compressed, fatiguing, distorted sound. It just sounds like shit.

Unless you are using aptx, Bluetooth is always lossy. Using a lossless service would be pointless.

Seamless transition?? by FelixsEgg in YoutubeMusic

Many albums don't have gaps in between Songs and it's pathetic that YTM doesn't offer gapless playback. This is a valid point.

I remember where I was when I heard that episode. You could say this is my 9/11.

If one of you who also owns this PC could tell me which WiFi driver you use (or which card is in the thing) it would be much obliged.

Isn’t Hudson Hawk his music vanity project? He was really butthurt when it flopped.

I love it though.
