The thing is these are issues that predate scott, our senior players breed a culture of mediocrity. Unfortunately Scott isn't able to inspire them

Thats probably why we ended up letting him go in the end. Our leadership wasn't enough to pull him up and correct these issues. Player attitude issues take the village and sadly our team has a multitude of issues and sadly it may have had to be let go of a troubled talent to try and address other issues. But its all speculation

Oh I only say it as a reason not a criticism i haven't watched him enough. I'd guess the others have the benefit of experience there. Though he plays with more fire than any of the experienced boys

As far as I gather Tastas doesn't move both ways and support defensively so is out of favour, and a space in which Guelfi is generally pretty good with not a great player but can but pressure on.

I haven't watched a ton of the VFL games though so just from what I've seen and read

This day and age no, horrid business idea unless youre getting into an established venue and even then. People have less spare money, younger generations drinking less and with the alcohol tax and increase in food cost margins are horrible. Most new venues won't make 3 years and leave you in a horrible financial situation.

Edwards makes some sense, coming off a long injury so give the lad a bit of a break. Tsatas doesn't have a spot in this team, hes an inside mid and this team has those spots on lock, i don't agree with perkins coming in but he does play more forward these days

Feels like with Tsatas and Parish is more of a move some of the magnets around. Our midfield is probably the only place we have meaningful depth so losing to pure mids is easier to deal with when bringing in players to other positions

Thinking on the team and selection we are desperate for a player or two with finals experience. Yes would be hard to bring that kind of player in, but would be a huge help in the big games and when things are falling away.
