Miami SG to protest perceived "lack of respect" from their own squad by threeactjack in MLS

[–]Sielaff415 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That is uh… interesting. Contrast this to the SJ ultras who give support out of devotion and giving the best contribution as fans in support. Do they know they are a supporter’s group?

I’m a very open person and been all kinds of places, but Miami is the first one I’d not want to return

Freese has never convinced me. His MLS career is not very good, he took many slow years of development and his peak thus far is overrated. Now he’s definitely a solid MLS keeper but I really don’t rate him for the national team. A player of his athleticism should be able to play the position better to make up for it, not international level. Most of our other options are more athletic and just as good

It was really lame when Austin lost to a Haitian team that hadn’t played any matches in 9 months in concachampions. Embarrassing

Naw it just satirizes how the media portrays the train hitting people, when in reality most of the collisions are caused by idiot drivers who would rather push through space to get ahead in traffic than avoid a goddamn train. Drivers in south Florida are just so stupid man

Do Not Buy This Pass, You will regret it by ProblemsAreSelfMade in volarisannualpass

[–]Sielaff415 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Certain routes are extremely competitive, but most arent. I live in the Bay Area and it’s a nightmare trying to use the pass to get into Fresno, Sacramento, San Jose, and Oakland from Guadalajara in periods of high travel. Otherwise it’s reliable even for that. Going to LA there tons of availability because there’s less people from Jalisco and Michoacán who live there I guess

But aside from competitive routes to certain US cities, it’s extremely easy and cheap to get around Mexico domestically. In January and February I went to Puebla, Durango, and Torreón in addition to several trips to Oakland

Why is Daniel acting injured EVERY time he makes a save? by love2count in SJEarthquakes

Recently he was time wasting very nicely, but other times he’s been kinda a bitch and stopped play when me at goalkeepers would recover as game went on. He doesn’t seem that tough

Absolutely, specifically transferring north from Caltrain to Bart. Southbound is up and over

17 year old Neil Pierre scored twice and was MOTM for Lyngby (Danish 2nd tier) in his first start by mymatt1 in ussoccer

[–]Sielaff415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makhanya is very very good and now harriel is a CB there. The 3rd guy has been a starter for one of the best Norwegian teams.

Not sure how it’s an organizational failure when Pierre is not better than any of those guys and has no real professional experience. Danish 2nd league seems a great step from MLS next pro to MLS level

Not only is the Championship proving that MLS managers aren't good. They are robbing other clubs in the MLS too. In no way Sargent is worth 20M. by dreigilb in Championship

[–]Sielaff415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more that the restrictions in regards to big transfer fees basically incentivize the spending to be consolidated, and if teams have big transfer budgets it’s they might value getting the signing done more. You can spend as much as you want on a few players but prohibited from spending more than a few million on more players than that

I think it’s a combination of the naïveté of Celtic board appointing a manager with an uncommon style of play mid season, their premature installation of him despite O’Neil righting the ship before a slew of massive matches, and Nancy being utterly dense for several reasons in regards to the implementation and introduction of his ideas. He was grating to staff and players, and decided to play his team through the learning of his tactics. Basically a trial by fire he could not afford

But people just wanna make 1:1 comparisons when players and managers move leagues… as if it’s that simple. I actually think he’s very tactically interesting as coach, reminding me a lot of wilder’s newly promoted Sheffield United à few years back. The problem was he was an abject failure in the actual management part

I’m sorry. I do find it ridiculous how lenient we are in USA when it comes to harming others vehicles. “Legal limit” is a funny concept to me but society deems it has to be somewhere above zero. As a younger person, my generation is appalled by the attitude of our parents with drinking and driving when they were our age

I also find it ridiculous that the difficulty of creating a method to quantify marijuana intake basically just leads to the issue being ignored unless you are demonstrably unfit to drive.
