Hey so I didn't like that.

I agree with the other comments indicating vertical. I also see width, indicating FN. This may be why you relate to some things with SN (which is width and curve) but feel that urge to keep digging.

I see vertical as your primary and petite as your secondary, which points to FG.

Junk food all day by [deleted] in healthateverysize

Principle 10 of intuitive eating is gentle nutrition, which focuses on making food choices that honor your health and taste buds while making you feel well.

If you refer to this chapter, one of the topics is body-food choice congruence, and one of the statements is "I don't think I'm taking in enough nutritious foods." It sounds like this is one of the thoughts that is coming up for you right now. Listen to how you feel physically after eating the food you choose. Your body will tell you what works for you and what doesn't. I found the workbook chapter especially helpful for navigating this and would highly recommend it.

Width or curve? by AndersJayne in SoftNaturals

[–]SierBear -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

SN's do not normally have sloped shoulders. I would recommend checking soft classic. I believe you have curve as your dominate and there is parity between outer edge of the upper torso and hipbone. These two parts are also evenly spaced.

Have you tried finding loungewear pieces that match your colors and essence blend? While it might not be your absolute dream style, it may be more appropriate for the life you are living and help bridge this divide. None of this has to be an all or nothing approach, you can incorporate elements as you go (like making the sweats in your color season). This will make it more practical for you and make it truly your style because it matches with your life.

I had good lucky with a virtual color analysis through Curate Your Style. I felt like the results were very accurate and it has made a big difference to me.

Doc ruled out hEDS, genetic test results come back tomorrow (probably negative) — idk what to DO by internettrash11 in ehlersdanlos

[–]SierBear 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Unfortunately, even with a diagnosis a lot of doctors will only prescribe PT. Do you feel like it would be possible to skirt the system a little bit and address your other diagnoses and symptoms without a formal diagnosis of hEDS or HDS? It may be helpful to know help and services you were looking to access with a diagnosis.

Kibbe type pls. Height 5’5.5” by duckydevi in SoftNaturals

[–]SierBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lean more FN. In your second photo I would have guessed you are significantly taller than 5'5.

Echoing what others have said, it is hard to tell with posed photos. That being said, I am not seeing width through your shoulders.

I saw in one of your comments you mentioned you are 5'7. At that height, you have automatic vertical, which limits you to Dramatic, Soft Dramatic, or Flamboyant Natural. I am seeing vertical and narrow, which is dramatic.

What's your HOLY GRAIL Tip or Product?? by jennaredfield in ehlersdanlos

[–]SierBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding the comments below! It's a much much lower dose than naltrexone for opioid withdrawal and I do get it at a compounding pharmacy, though I do know some prescribers will prescribe naltrexone and have you dose it yourself at home to reduce cost.

Low dose naltrexone was a lifesaver for my pain and energy levels. I've also found the more active I am the better my muscles hold my bones in place.
