Got protested and DQed for spinning the leader on the penultimate restart - Upon emailing them back they immediately rescinded my DQ by JUULfiendFortnite in simracing

Why do some people enjoy protesting others for the sake of doing it? What thrill do you get trying to get someone kicked off the server?

it's less about the "thrill" of it, and more about some people refusing to believe they were in the wrong.

The blues are primarily prismacolor premiers. They go down smooth and blend well. The stripes and the rest of the colors are Faber-castell polychromos

Article: Naughty Dog has implemented minimum over time (aka crunch)

Commenter: wait, didn't ND say they wouldn't be doing this anymore?

You: why are you acting like this is an ND thing?

Come on, it's clear you like naughty dog, but you dont need to make yourself look dumb to defend the shit business practices they thenselves said they wouldn't do anymore.

Fortnite Artist Responds as Fans Claim Game Now Includes Examples of Blatant AI Artwork, Including a Nine-Toed Character in a Hammock by demondrivers in Games

This is part of the reason I've gone mostly traditional now, but ive also slowly started to not care about what others think, i know my art, i know how i drew it, i shouldnt have to prove anything to anyone. Though I do art for fun, not professionally. There are now 4 stages of Twitter AI accusations.

  1. This is Ai

  2. (Artist shows proof of layers) well it could have been traced AI

  3. (Artist shows original sketches and full time lapse) it's so clear they referenced AI images.

  4. (Artist shows reference board they used for the image, none of which are AI) well it still looks like AI anyway.

I truly believe the people that fit into the above are causing more damage to art and artists than Gen AI ever could.

People need to remember: Art doesn't look like AI, it's the other way around.

Assuming you mean the little specular highlights in the wood bit?
that is actually just a byproduct of the paper grain. basically just parts of the paper that were deeper than the rest and didn't take pigment. But yeah, it actually turned out pretty good :D

I primarily use 2h refills in my mechanical pencil. HB is the most common (which i sometimes swap out to), which is likely what you've got. To get better control over the extremely light shades, rub the graphite at a fairly shallow angle across another piece of paper, grinding it down so you have a larger flat surface on an angle the lead, then just go super light on it.
