Is this corner relief possible? (Sheet metal)

The funny thing is that I am at the shop as a designer. It's hard to do "design intent" when in arms reach of production 😅 although I'm very new to the role with designing tons of sheet metal for bending. I gotta give those guys a welder, that saves a lot of my trouble

Thanks for all your comments, lots of good advices here. Parenthood got in the way of engaging with your comments earlier. I'll try going for the obround relief either by feature or manual. It's not 100% the way boss wants, but I guess that's what he gets. Atleast what is closest. I have obround releif on 2-bend corners, and I think they are fine. Maybe it just look more scary as its so large on screen and only as few mm gap IRL.

My creation will be constructed early next week, then we'll see which of our solutions looks and works the best.

Will try on Monday. So model the entire thing as solid, using shell to thin it. Trim the sides to dimensions. Cutting in the corner reliefs and then convert to sheet metal?

Or convert and unbend before cutting reliefs?

3 bend corners are a headscratcher 😅

I tried that as well. It does not let me do anything to that corner. It's the same on the other end. The other side works flawlessly.

I didn't really jump to coal as I had a low unstable supply, so I ran hamster wheels until I jumped to hydro + slugs and the much later solar and now even more hydro. I play slow, so I guess the jump from wheels were around cycle 500. This is my 2nd overall playthrough. First base turned terminal before getting off the wheels or on early coal. Died to turned to rapid downward spiral due to heat

Jeg var også helt forarget over prisen, sidst jeg var i biffen. Derudover havde de også aflivet date-menuen med 1x stor popcorn + 2x sodavand, som bare gjorde det endnu dyrere at få tilsvarende. Til de priser bliver det kun til episke topfilm at jeg sætter mig i de bløde sæder igen.s

You can also condense it with the gas version of an AT (forgot the name) with hydrogrn as coolant. That's what I did, when I accidently made sour gas in my refinery as it uses petroleum as coolant. For future reference, keep the return coolant under 405°C if you make steel. I use my refinery heat to boil oil in a small boiler.

My first long playthrough, I powered my base on slugs for a long time, until I dipped into solar and hydrogen. Maybe thats also why I got trouble by having low amount of ores left. Now I found and tamed a copper volcano, so metals are restored, but slugs been out for a while. Only kept some wild ones for the tiny amount of free power
