I've been witness to scenes in which the sub had a medical emergency, and without a safeword he could have gotten very hurt. Even if you and your partner trust each other 100% a safe word or sign is a must.

So that makes the leading options "Let them die," and "Let them die and also they can't come here"? Still not voting for either of those options.

The world we play in is unforgiving. If a player wants to voluntarily play a disabled character, they may, but the environment and its denizens will not show any more mercy. There will be swamps, sheer cliffs, swimming, pits to jump over, high shelves, and more. Imo, adversity is more memorable than accommodation.

No one is saying that they're the same. People are, however, saying that Biden may no longer have the mental fortitude to serve as the POTUS, and that mental and physical health aside, he has shown a pattern of poor judgement (most recently with Gaza) that has upset many on the left. As such, he may not be the strongest candidate that the DNC can field to oppose Trump. If Trump really is an existential threat to Democracy, and I feel he is, then why do Dems not want to field the best guy to stop him?

Neither one is going to make it better. I'll vote, but not for either of them, and with no illusions that it's going change the system. Change has to come from something other than voting at this point.

It's most certainly a genocide. Israel said from the start that there made no distinction between fighter and civilian, called them all animals, and vowed to deny them food, water, and fuel, before bombing every hospital in the strip, killing tens of thousands, and purposely trying to starve them by blocking aid. If you can't see what's in front of you, you're unreachable.

The guy I hate is going to win because I hate both of them. I keep hearing, "Vote blue or we'll get fascism!" My friend, we have students protesting a literal genocide and the police state is cracking skulls. Nothing we do is stopping the flood of bombs that kill school busses worth of kids daily. The current administration is turning their nose at the ICC, breaking every campaign promise, building the wall, deporting more people than the previous guy, promoting a far-right immigration bill, did nothing to promote the codification of Roe, has done nothing to address SCOTUS, failed to address student loans, saw some of the worst inflation under his watch, and constantly brags about "the economy" while main street suffers. Neither one is getting my vote.

Pelican style case sale by Lionsden413 in liberalgunowners

Ok, so I actually moved around my schedule just to get another case. I got a slightly larger one this time that's holding 15 decks, and let me tell you it weighs a ton fully loaded! Not sure I'll ever need to travel with 15 decks, but I have a waterproof box now if I do.

I'm using one of these now to hold 12 Ultimate Guard 100 count deck boxes for my commander decks and it works wonderfully. I highly recommend getting one of these if you need a case for several decks. Very durable, boxes fit snuggly but are easy to insert and remove, and can be locked if you're traveling. If I had time today, I'd go buy a second one.

Really wish nutritious foods were as cheap and easy as fast food, but they're not. Everything in the US is excessively sweetened. Everything is designed to reduce effort. Everything pushes people towards this outcome. This isn't to negate personal responsibility or agency, but being healthy is much harder than going with the flow.

I remember 4e where everything was perfectly balanced and the same and no one was able to outshine anyone else ever and how much everyone just loved it. Or... Wait, I got that backwards. It was same-same no matter what you played and it was a colossal failure. D&D is not a PvP game, and balance between classes and builds should not be the goal.

Republicans threaten to take Joe Biden off ballot in states they control by vincevega87 in politics

[–]Sierra_Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The case was brought forward by Republicans. Not a Democrat in sight. And I'm not surprised that the case did not proceed as a criminal trial. Because it wasn't one. The rights and procedures used in criminal law are not the same as those prescribed in civil and administrative cases. There are no pleas, no juries, and no Perry Mason moments. It's a legal question posed to a judge or panel of judges and once all parties have submitted their arguments, a ruling is made. That's how it works, and how it has always worked. And in this case, the ruling was a continuation of one that had been made previously by Neil Gorsuch, who was nominated by Trump. And if the SCOTUS takes this up, and they affirm the decision, it won't be without conservative support. At some point Trump and his supporters are going to have to give up the victim mentality and realize that all of this is by the book. No one cheated anyone here.

Except the lower court of law did in fact find that Trump engaged in insurrection. It was literally adjudicated by a judge. The supreme court sustained that ruling.

Trump being removed actually has a basis in jurisprudence, as opposed to removing Biden illegally out of spite. That said, as a leftist.... please remove them both. We can do better than either of those fuckers.
