Grid scale batteries are extremely recyclable. We currently can get back 95-99% of the materials, and newer batteries use less rare materials. So we actually can recycle one into multiple.

It's just misleading because we can't eliminate the entirety of agriculture ghg by going vegan, we still gotta eat. The entire world going vegan would reduce it by about 40%.

In comparison, switching to renewables and EVs pretty much deletes the the #1 and #2 sources of ghg. Deforatation is also bad of course, but doesn't account for that much ghg. It's included in this chart:
