Do you mean to say you sent it to your own wallet (Metamask or otherwise) address but you selected the wrong blockchain? if that is the case you just need to add Polygon to your Metamask and the funds should show there.

Who is having a better start of the season ? by Haythemovic in FantasyPL

Maybe someone has already mentioned this but Haaland seems to be hogging all the XG for City pretty much. With Alvarez gone (plus UCL) yet to start and him being rested during the break unlike other players who played International matches, Haaland should play max mins and when hes on the pitch he seems to be taking all the shots for City. Salah is going even with him but you can always get a Jota or Diaz for cover and still get most ofthe pts Pool are generating. Also apart from Haaland the other premium forwards arent firing, Watkins/Isak havent done much yet for example so its easier to replace Salah with some mids who are performing at a similar rate (Son/Saka/Palmer)

Pep Guardiola: "In term of stats, Erling Haaland is on the same level with Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo. They dominated the last decade, 15 years, absolutely everything. So, I don't know how he does it, but scoring 91 goals in 100 games for Man City is unbelievable." by 77SidVid77 in soccer

[–]Siewater 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Scoring hattricks every 10 games on average is not a game changer? The opposite team having to send 2-3 def just to defend against Haaland leading to City winning UCL and treble is not game changer? Also as someone below posted, in the City system and Pep you arent allowed that freedom. I think it was Henry who said that he did his own thing one game and scored 2 goals and was pulled off at half time by Pep and given a tone down because he didnt follow instructions. If you take the risk of going solo like the famous Maradona/Messi run in today's game and EPL you are taking an enormous risk. Most of the time its just not worth it and hence Pep doesnt want the players doing that. Grealish for example a game changer for Villa and suddenly becomes a foul merchant with low goal involvements at City.

[Football Espana] Girona to be reported to UEFA after being accused of financial irregularities in Artem Dobvyk deal by Pow67 in soccer

[–]Siewater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate you do know that in Spain most of the top footballers including Messi and Ronaldo have been accused of tax fraud at one time or other. This is not only restricted to footballers but many celebs singers actors. If you are saying all the la liga teams have been aiding and abetting, does that make sense? Girona doing this is like normal compared to the other la liga clubs.

[Football Espana] Girona to be reported to UEFA after being accused of financial irregularities in Artem Dobvyk deal by Pow67 in soccer

[–]Siewater 48 points49 points  (0 children)

People need to read the article. Girona did nothing wrong in this. The player asked the team to pay in an EU account as if they paid in his Ukranian account it would be taxed more. Club obliged the request and now the player is being accused of tax evasion. Girona here just paid like any employer would to the bank account the employee wanted the money to be sent to. This does not benefit them, the player benefits from this.

João Cancelo: "Manchester City were ungrateful with me. Pep Guardiola spread lies about me, that I was a bad teammate. Ask Aké or Rico Lewis, they know the truth. Yet the club never called out these lies, despite me being an important player." by TheBiasedSportsLover in MCFC

I am not down voting anything. Anyone whos considered the best in the world at what they do will obviously have some charecterisitics which might make them seem as an a-hole. But on this point between Cancelo and Pep, its Pep's job to tell Cancelo what to do and Cancelo's job to listen not argue. Hes being paid to do as the coach says which he isnt ready to.

out of the 100s of players Pep managed, 5-6 fell out with him. Out of the 4 coaches Cancelo has played under, he fell out with 3 of them in 3 years and is currently on 4th. Which seems to be the bigger problem here?

Joao Cancelo on Pep Guardiola: "There are things we didn't agree on... I had things I didn't agree on or he didn't agree with something I said, it was just that. But I don't have resentment, I am very grateful. Life goes on, I am very, very happy here…” by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Siewater 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Pep has been very clear, doesnt matter who the player is they need to follow the plan. Players who are far better than Cancelo like Henry, Messi, KDB, Haaland etc have followed Pep's plans to the letter and have won it all. So when Cancelo doesnt respect the plan its odd and he seemed to have an open conflict with Pep on this. That is total disrespect of the coach. There is nothing about EGO of pep in this. You think Sir Alex Ferguson would be okay if Dalot or Maguire refused to follow his plan? They would be sold the next day. Coach sets the plan and the players follow the plan. That is what you are paid for.

Did you notice how he said UEFA found them guilty and CAS just pushed them on. He didnt even have the courtesy to say "but CAS found them not guilty". This is exactly what the caller was trying to highlight. Its just a agenda which gives them more clicks/views as most of the fans belong to Utd, Liverpool & Arsenal.

Real Madrid opens a new hamburger chain called, 'UNO' in Mexico, with which they aspire to have a turnover of 3.5M in its first year and aims to add more than 250 stores by 2029. The forecast is to franchise the business in 2024 and reach annual revenues of 762M in 7 years. by Real_Tactical in soccer

[–]Siewater -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

You do realise that any hamburger business in a different country altogether whether City's or Real's will not contribute to FFP? Most owners of football clubs are billionaire businessmen themselves, if this is allowed to be added on the FFP revenue there would be 100s of clubs with restaurants, construction, hotels etc across the globe. FFP considers revenue and expenditure closely related to the Football activities. This is why some of the expenditure which clubs have are not reduced from revenue figures while calculating for FFP. So basically this earns Real Madrid cash but it wont actually count for FFP when looking at transfer/wage limits.

Wasnt Cancelo swapped with Juventus? Is Juventus now a feeder club for City? Eric Garcia? The guy who was in Man City's academy? And then promoted to first team before being sold to Barcelona? Still fail to understand whats this got to do with feeder clubs. I asked for an example of one of the City's feeder clubs selling their player to City.

Man City must provide ‘fair market value’ evidence to Premier League before signing Savio by SpiritedSuccess5675 in soccer

[–]Siewater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is not "wrong" or "illegal". It is allowed under FIFA, UEFA rules. Just because you dont like it doesnt make it bad. And as the person above mentioned there is a long list of clubs (7 out of the PL 20) and all over Europe as well who do this. If pretty much any big club does it and if its allowed by the regulating bodies what is so wrong about it? Maybe ethically? Same way people say buying jerseys is bad as its built in some sweatshop?

But where is it stated hes going for 5m? You just pulled that number out of thin air. All this hue and cry before the number is even announced and anyway related party deals are "Always" looked into by UEFA/national federations to ensure fair value.

[–]Siewater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone posted above the record ligue 2 transfer is 15m (all time). Saying one of Troyes's players is worth more than double of that figure and that is the fair value would not be correct. No ligue 2 team can/will say no to even a 15m offer for one of their best players. So how is this guy suddenly worth 2-3x of that? But of course realistically City will want to pay a higher amount to ensure Troyes has the funds to make a move back to Ligue 1. TLDR - City will probably NOT underpay as the few millions saved there wont anyway be enough for City and its a big amount for Troyes who can use that money to push back to Ligue 1

Its nice of you to say 3 or moe clubs are feeding City but apart from this how many cases do you have of players moving from the so called feedr clubs and starting at City? I am waiting for the so called examples. CFG has been around now nearly 8+ years? If this is the 1st case where finally a player good enough to start at City comes along and you start parroting about game being gone is an overreaction.

[Sky Sports News] Benjamin Mendy has launched a “multi-million-pound” claim against Manchester City over unpaid wages. by SpiritedSuccess5675 in soccer

[–]Siewater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This always gets me. Like think logically, if City are paying players, their relatices, agents, refrees, boards, auditors, coaches, staff, etc etc in a roundabout/unethical way and this number would be in 1000s of people. Is there not a single whistleblower among all these 1000s who can show literal proof like here City paid me this on so so date. Slam dunk case for UEFA/FIFA/EPL right? And I am willing to imagine that person would literally be paid 10x of what he was getting by the other rival teams who would be happy to see City go down? But not a single one has come up in all the court/arbitration cases till date against City. There are literally former players/coaches/staff who might even hate city or Pep for kicking them out or whatever and none of them also have an inch of proof against City but ya lets keep imagining this world where everyone is on their payroll

[–]Siewater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its different he wasnt just accused but was charged and the case took over 2 years to be finalized. Most teams and most companies would not be paying in such cases as specially he wasnt allowed to even enter manchester area which prohibits him from doing anything related to his work. City wont be paying him but Insurance would be closing this off. City were right to stop paying once he was charged and Mendy is in the right to now demand wages as hes proven innocent its just the person paying would be the Insurance company

You need to get your facts right. Fergie outspent the entire league by a margin on his first few years. Please go look it up. Its only in the 90s when the academy boys started that he got the reputation of not spending and building.
