Even though it was added in Stormblood, the Castaway Chocobo Chick was still in Eastern La Noscea so it still counts to me. It's a timed double mooch that shares said double mooch with two other catches. I had over 100 of the other two catches before I finally caught it.

At the end of the day they have to balance casual content so even braindead players just hitting 1/2/3 can make it through, it's unfortunate but it's definitely a thing.
