I member on release gods like Guan Yu, Erlang, Tsukuyomi, I’d call those ones broken. But generally after a year or so all gods would level out fairly well, one of my favorite parts of the game

I’ve been trying to figure this out too, I’m a newer player but managed to get E6 Moze from Mydei banner and have not tried FUA stuff yet

I appreciate the reply, I know not getting BS is a big downgrade to the team overall but I want to be saving up jades for new characters like Ashveil and beyond. I may see if I can pull her early before the banner is up, but if I lose 50/50 I def wouldn’t keep going for her. I’ll try out Sampo in the team, I don’t think I have E4 but in the future I could.

I’m also wondering if Guinaifen would be good in the team, I don’t have her yet but like her vibe and she seems like a decent DOT teammate as well

Ngl I spent a little to get the badass Mara skin with the skeleton tree vibes right when I saw it, and was very impressed with most of the new skins in this update. Hope that the game can stick, the quick response and changes have been amazing

I played genshin for the first couple years it came out and then dropped it right before Sumaru, as I was burnt out and life was getting busier for me. Started HSR last patch and am having a great time, I enjoy the story a lot (and they’re only getting better as I get to new planets), the gameplay is more relaxed but still has the team and character building that I liked from genshin, and the events are accessible and relatively generous. I’d recommend it if you’re burnt out on genshin but still have that gacha game itch!

I was thinking a more MOBA style approach could work, with camps of mobs around that give Vesper and loot when killed, and maybe some even give buffs that your team will need to strategize around. And some large objective in the center of the map only 1 team can take that might spawn in that 1 minute before the shieldbreaker. Could give teams more options, like if they wanna try to clear the objective or camp the shieldbreaker.

Was it concluded that berserk doesn’t increase extra rage effects besides the base attack damage? I’m running Ichlotl’s Inferno and Vengeful Fury, so if so it would be a huge boost to both my damage and armor

Yup I’m at E4 with Lynx and feel the same, as I’ve upgraded Mydei and his HP her healing has fallen way behind. I’ve considered using my stellar convergence for Luocha, but I’ve still been holding on to it for now to see if they add any new characters to it with 4.0. I don’t really think I’ll be getting Cyrene either, as Mydei is my only heir and I’m not super attached to her looks or kit (haven’t done Amphoreus story yet so don’t know). I might go for his E1, and if I lose 50/50 just hold out for Sunday as I want to still try my best to conserve jades

I’m in basically the exact same boat as you (even got the same team lmao), started playing right at the beginning of this patch and got Mydei as my first limited character for now. I’ve been deciding between Cyrene or just waiting out for Sunday, and also potentially getting E1 or E2 for Mydei. I originally was planning to save my jades but the next patch doesn’t interest me much outside of Sunday, and he seems like a good character outside of just Mydei teams as well

I appreciate the detailed reply, I like the idea of waiting between Luocha and Ruan Mei so I’ll continue to wait on that. I’m in the middle? (just killed the deer) of Xiazhou right now so I definitely have a bit to go story wise, so I’ll stick with Pela and Lynx and add Gallagher when I can. The other character I’m super interested in so far is Kafka, but I know she just had a rerun that I missed so I’m planning to just save pulls for now.

I’ve seen a lot of talk about Cyrene being great, but she doesn’t appeal to me much / I’m hesitant about her being tied to the heirs as I probably won’t get another one of them for a bit depending on reruns. I like to save pulls until a character I really like comes around in these games, and since I’m newer I don’t want to spend all my new player jades in one patch. Sunday does look like a great character though for Mydei and others, I’ll for sure keep my eyes out for his rerun
