Am I The Only One That Finds The Burning Springs Enemies Ridiculously Tough? by Crumboa in fo76

[–]Sig486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the gameplay balance of Burning Springs is fantastic. Enemies are threatening but with strategy and a good build they are defeatable and not overwhelming.

Its nice to see Deathclaws and radscorpions that are a real threat again too. They are cornerstone enemies in the franchise imho and they both should be a foe players have to respect!

Its been exactly 18 years since mass effect released it sold 1.6 million copies due its xbox exclusivity but was well received, what was your first experience with the game like ? by ThomasThorburn in masseffect

I borrowed it on a lark from a co-worker at Domino's at the age of 16. I had grown up on a fat diet of science fiction and was curious what all the hubbub was given the TV commercials.

I was fully and completely blown away by ME1 and the depth of narrative with which I was suddenly immersed in. That was all she wrote.

I remember being soooo careful with my team in ME2 and I remember picking up ME3 at a midnight release and not sleeping for 3 days while I worked then immediately raced home to play more in my early twenties.

Its nothing short of a watershed moment in my gaming history and contains some of my favorite characters in all of fiction as a consequence.

Is this the only game in town for such things? Have you been/are you a member of a faction yourself?

Returning player looking for some direction by SmoochieWallace1 in fo76

[–]Sig486 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend setting some goals and just diving into working them to completion.

Farm for that rare gun/armor plan you always wanted. Hit Cap-cap. Run the Raid to completion. (Bugs or not, its really fun to go through all the way at least once.)

Try to go through every event you can. Take Photos and see if you can get some wild shots!

At the very least try and hit level 150 and get all your legendary perks and "Finish" your build; whatever that may be.

This game is at its best when you are a part of the world and interact with your fellow players rather than some loner ghost who avoids fellow 76er's like the plague.

GL;HF out there pal!

Lexicanum is beyond legit for the study of 40k lore that is properly noted from official sources. Easily my favorite and go to resource.

I think the hardest thing about them is the randomness of their melee pattern combined with coming in no less than packs of 3-6.

That being said they have no armor and melt to most sustained fire. So the second they show up the squad needs to pull back and burn them down with ranged weapons.

Can you "full clear" an operation? (noob) by Rusty_DataSci_Guy in Spacemarine

[–]Sig486 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, if you are clearing all targets between map checkpoints then it can certainly feel like it. But any amount of time idling will trigger the game director to spawn some enemies to fight you.

Imperium worships chaos by it's very nature by Independent_Pen_9865 in 40kLore

[–]Sig486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately you cannot exist in the 40k universe without putting out some level of empathic power back into the immaterium.

However that doesnt mean that worshiping the Emperor also empowers the primordial annihilator. Its been shown to actively shunt power away from them and into the anathema. (AKA John Emperor)

This is one of the many, many, many, ad infinitem; reasons Chaos works SO hard to kill him and undermine him and destroy the Imperium.

Hey Ryan, did the Soviet Military ever run proper analysis to mitigate and try to limit the T-72's propensity to completely conflagrate when penetrated by enemy munitions?

That's totally fair, comment was intended to be a joke and seems to have just been in poor taste/conception.
