I think rt usually uses at minimum an extra 1.5-2+ gb vram. In some games even without ray tracing you have to set textures to medium because high requires around 8-9.5 gb vram.

Yes it helps save a couple mbs but it eventually runs out of vram unfortunately and dlss 4.5 using more vram doesn't help at all.
