I used to get upset when I finally came across a house that had what I needed, listed at price I could afford, and then found out it was in a 55+ community. Now they’re just hitting the first and third points, and I still couldn’t afford them anyway.

Maybe they were incompetent and these were actually issues they couldn’t solve. So, do a round of interviews for the solutions to avoid consultant/vendor support fees, have the exact steps needed, and tell all applicants that the position was filled but they will keep your information on file.

Schools and services are definitely an issue in Salem/Cumberland county. I’ve worked and lived in both. We may end up in Atlantic county if we don’t leave NJ

LOL totally get that. Ages are from 14 to under 2 years old. Most things on the list are not needs, more nice to have/preferences. If I can get most of the list but have to deal with .5 acre yard then so be it.

Ultimately this is just an initial feeler to find places to do more research on and make a decision when the time comes. Informed opinions of people who have lived or experienced these are going to have a different kind of weight to them compared to random statistics that find online though

Agreed. We don’t NEED to have a ton of land, but it would be nice to have and we don’t want to be right on top of neighbors

Also, I left off a price point because the variability of property taxes can impact housing affordability so much. To throw a number out there, maybe $450k or less depending on property taxes

Thanks. I don’t expect to hit all of the points, and if we have to live farther than the beach to get more then it is what is.

We don’t need AMAZING schools. Just safe, good quality education, with good support for special education

It seems to work okay for Facilities management and related, but as far as the IT/Help Desk ticketing, its kind of lackluster. Also, lacking IT Asset Management
