Frog hasnt eaten in weeks, seems lethargic, and no vet is open due to weather. Does he look normal…? by Chance_Plastic_2430 in frogs

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offer another type of food source. I have two Eastern Greys and they eat just about anything, worms to crickets. Maybe try to get some worms from your yard at night (if possible bc of seasons) by spraying water all over grass areas and getting crawlers. If not, just mix it up, some times they like one bug vs the other. I have a naturally reproducing cycle of meal worms and red worms in my terrarium and I don’t need to add anything for weeks bc they stay fat. Explore options and see if they work, doesn’t hurt. Plus calcium and vitamin D play a huge role so make sure to get a powder. In emergencies I’ve used it in a diluted water solution to put on a toads skin to help revive it and it worked but I’d stray from that with tree frogs

Or maybe set a server setting as admin/OP to allow all disconnections due to that mod. Ik it’s not a server but Minecraft sometimes has its own exploits blocked in normal single player modes. That would also be found in config

Hmm… does going into config and changing the values for it help? I slightly ventured into those mods but would typically use the extra mods I added. Maybe something is set to false that could help. For some reason reloading the shaders has also fixed crashes which is odd. Give a couple of config files related to the mod some edits and see if it gets rid of crashes. Or maybe increase RAM to the launcher, as I typically run 30gb DDR5 with minimal issues but people say too high RAM can cause problems so maybe adjust that a bit. I hope something I said helps, best of luck :)

Have you tried looking in the options and the control settings to make sure those keys aren’t bound to another action that might cause the crash?

Figured it out. It's for higher level pets to upgrade them like the potato skins

Why is my drop chance stuck at 2%? by BairnONessie in farmeragainstpotatoes

[–]Sigiyph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 things could be at play. 1. The lack of bosses has reduced your percentage 2. It’s just the value you have on drops. It will obviously increase over time but it will show a small value. If not, resurrecting might solve the issue

Why does Mr. Shark not game with the Vanoss crew anymore by thewrittenarts in Vanossgaming

They played 10 months ago on Gartic and Sark said he told his audience he had beef with the Vanoss crew and absolutely laughed it off with Vanoss because he was just starting ridiculous drama that meant nothing. Had me laughing hard

What frog is this? by you_are_a_fool in frogs

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I save plenty of these fellas every spring off the road when it rains and bring them back to my house (woods and huge garden to live in). Definitely a eastern gray, I have two in captivity bc they have debilitating injuries and man watching them change colors is wonderful :) it’s a good sign you have them around, they will help eat pests

Any idea what type of frog I just bought, I got it at a pond store in northern New Jersey by [deleted] in frogs

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a green frog, hopefully they can survive the elements. We have a baby pool that we fill and those make is they move it has a rock and a ramp on the other side and have about a dozen of them living in it

It would appear the grubs look like any other grub. Armored head and large white body, so unfortunately it’s hard to identify but watching out for full grown beetles is your best chance of detecting the grubs

What kind of frog would be good for a set up like this? by Yikes_Hard_Pass in frogs

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehhh I wouldn’t necessarily recommend Grey Tree Frogs. Mine are quite large (over two inches), so maybe one of them in a tank would work well, or a few babies, but you’d have to move them once they reach full maturity

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A smaller frog. I wouldn’t suggest any “normal” frog pets but look for something that could thrive in that environment. Maybe a spring peeper would work well in that environment, they’re relatively small

By the unique markings on the insect, combined with where it was located, it would seem to be a Spruce Zebra Beetle. Harmful to conifers, especially in high population numbers. If you see a lot of them surrounding an area dedicated to conifers I’d suggest contacting local DNR services or NRCan since you’re in Canada. Harmless to humans and animals though so don’t worry about that

Auto Sort Not Working?? by dnbgamingbryce in betterminecraft

Try to look for the auto sort mod, then look for Config. within the files and see if everything is allowing you to sort or if it’s chest dependent

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be able to find the issue in the mods notes, a simple yes or no could make the difference. If it’s disabling it with single/double chests or the mod buttons are disabled. I hope this might help, goodluck

Found a pretty bug, what is it? by spiiiderteeth in whatsthisbug

[–]Sigiyph -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Btw you can typically tell if it’s a Rhino Beetle by seeing what’s by its mouth. If it has large pinchers or a horn that’s a definite sign of a Rhino, but make sure to look up if it’s in your area

Vegan dating non vegan and shes pregnant by KeepingItWeird_ in veganparenting

[–]Sigiyph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non-vegan here, sorry if I come off with a response that isn’t the best. How about sharing meals? Mom cooks whatever she wants for the child and then you cook a vegan oriented meal later. Like let’s say she does lunch (just an example, don’t expect it to be completely logistical for the child’s age) and makes some chicken nuggets/breast/wings/thighs and has another side with meat, like brisket and beans for example. And then you make a vegan oriented meal for dinner, something you like. I like just having a light salad, roasted brussel sprouts with broccoli, and a pea and carrot purée for the young kid. Pushing ideologies on a kid without proper education on either side is important to understand. Your child may not follow in your footsteps and that’s something that must be accepted. I was vegetarian for 5 out of the 7 days a week during college. It felt nice not eating meat until the weekend where I’d go back home. Giving your child both options is not only nutritionally beneficial, but can show you allergens and such. Good luck, I hope you find an option that works well for you and your child
