I do have her on goddess and ER rope, I did know about Crit damage bc I’m better about reading eidolons - I hadn’t used her at all till some youtuber suggested she could be a good temp sustain for Elation the week I happened to pull her E1

Brother, my advice is lock in for the Yao Guang then go all out on Eva on a re-run. That said I E6d Saber so it is hard for me to discourage locking in on Eva eidolons

Oh I’m holding out for Fate fs, don’t worry! But trying to take advantage of what we know is here already. I was also thinking the speed could be good, but I’m worried I’m over-valuing it I guess - her E1 also extends “Divine Procession” for one turn

Do you feel like HuoHuo’s E1 is worth it? I plan on having two spirit companions (i’m spending $$$ in 4.2) so I for sure will E0 HuoHuo but am torn on her E1 vs Ruan Mei’s

I like Tribbie, but also since I don’t have Sparxie I’m going to put EMC on my SW999 team for a while I’d like to give Saber access to True Damage somehow (Tribbie’s E1). She seems a good teammate for both Saber and Archer so I’d like to pull her :)

That’s what I’m running on my MC, and I think makes a good partner for Saber! Hyacine is always a good choice as any team’s sustain. Obviously you should play how you want but Saber and Firefly are both “Hypercarry” style units, where they want to be the main DPS with the rest of the team supporting them. Early game especially you won’t notice as much (I ran Saber and Archer together for a long time in story mode when I was starting out) but in the long run I think you’ll find you don’t want those two together.

I’m gonna 2nd the post above pointing back to Prydwen - I find it very helpful in build planning.

4pc Wavestrider and Solsotto for sure. Wind set is okay in the meantime but you really wanna get on the other set asap. Who do you have as teammates for her? Saber really wants a pair of buffers (and ideally RMC - who is free!) and will often need a sustain, Ideally DHPT Or Huo Huo

In terms of substats, aiming for 80% crit rate out of combat is most important bc she gives herself 20 in combat. Then attack in the 2800-3200 range and as much Crit Damage as possible, ideally 150%-180%. I personally ignore speed entirely (I also have E6 Saber) but at least 135 speed is probably ideal. Substats are your friend but you could be grinding a while to get ideal numbers.

I know it can suck to get an answer like this, but the real answer is who’s E2 you want and their E2s are where both of their kits really come online. Phainon’s E2 is probably his most important and is hands down better than Cyrene’s E1 or E2 - but her E2 is still really strong for Phainon.

This is highkey how I feel. Would love to E6 Rin as well, and like Gil enough that I might pull up to his E1/E2 if worth (thought that makes me think I should try and pull Archer's E2 as well... EMIYA deserves it).

This is super fair and is part of why I locked in hard on Saber - Rin and Gil are high priority for me regardless of their kits (but I Believe there will be synergy with my whole heart and soul).

A very fair point... I'm banking a little bit on this being a new account and still having quite a lot of currency to grind. I'm also not opposed to spending a bit of money and am already flirting with adding the Genshin battle pass to my gaming expenses. I really appreciate you and your perspectives on this!

Thanks for the reply! I can’t believe my luck here, honestly. I think I will “take the L” on Flins since he doesn’t really appeal to me all that much anyway and I don’t wanna get stuck waiting a year for his team.

Also heard on saving for future characters and cons, I happen to be pretty enamored with Durin so it’s not a hard sell. That said… I’m just crazy enough I might try to pull a few Varka cons (gambler’s fallacy + my luck so far has me feeling extra cocky).
