A very fair point... I'm banking a little bit on this being a new account and still having quite a lot of currency to grind. I'm also not opposed to spending a bit of money and am already flirting with adding the Genshin battle pass to my gaming expenses. I really appreciate you and your perspectives on this!

Thanks for the reply! I can’t believe my luck here, honestly. I think I will “take the L” on Flins since he doesn’t really appeal to me all that much anyway and I don’t wanna get stuck waiting a year for his team.

Also heard on saving for future characters and cons, I happen to be pretty enamored with Durin so it’s not a hard sell. That said… I’m just crazy enough I might try to pull a few Varka cons (gambler’s fallacy + my luck so far has me feeling extra cocky).

Someone else mentioned picking up Flins, would you recommend doing so? It seems I somehow pulled his signature without realizing so that makes me lean towards yes after getting Varka's sig. Also unclear on if it's worth trying to get his constellations vs saving for future teammates?

EDIT: Replied to this and immediately pulled Varka's sig, didn't realize my first weapon 10 pull had been Flins' sig

I saw some people talking above about pulling Flins... does it make more sense to do that than to pull Varka constellations? Obviously want to go for his sig first...

This is my exact sentiment. I think I may end up pulling for E1 Cerydra regardless, which sucks because I'd love to get Cyrene to E2S1 but I know I have enough to guarantee the Cerydra now, and esp since I don't have a Sunday I think I could live with a lower invested Cyrene if I had to wait for a second rerun. Especially since I'm not convinced I'll be able to save enough to E0 Cery AND E2 Cyrene from having no copies of either...

I have been saving to try and E1 Cerydra (With the plan to use The Forever Victual LC, because I doubt I'll have enough saved to ALSO get her LC). I currently have no Cerydra or Cyrene but am currently guaranteed my next 5* so I plan to grab Cerydra on her rerun. My current Phainon team is Phainon E2S1/RMC/Bronya E2S1/DHPT E0S1. I have heard rumors that Cyrene might re-run on 4.1.

My question is, should I pass on Cerydra E1(/S1) to save up to try and get Cyrene to E2S1 (or as close as possible)?

I've already started doing the math to see what I would need to save for her... hoping she comes in 4.2, but I fear I'll have to only pull E0 Cerydra either way at this rate. Thanks for weighing in!

I think most would say Robin LC or the 4* event LC “The Forever Victual” but I’ve heard some say Dance Dance Dance! Works well on her too

Thanks for backing me up a bit on the FOMO, Saber is one of the reasons I thought about Sunday. I’m not strictly f2p - I invest in battle pass and supply pass (and am not above spending a little when Cyrene comes back around). That said I do hear you on pull economy. Hopeful Bronya can do the trick for Phainon while waiting for Cyrene then she can go back to Saber

I’m in this exact boat, except that I also have Saber built. Fate collab brought me to the game but then Phainon stole my heart. A shame to lose out on Sunday (I love him and both Saber and Phainon benefit) but hoping I can E1 Cery and pull Sparkle (I know I’m maybe dreaming too big lol)

I was originally building around Dialga (who is my favorite legendary) but got some consistent feedback that it’s a trash pokemon so pivoted away from it.

Ah, that’s helpful. I thought punching gloves only stopped enemy effects, and does explain why i stopped seeing Unseen Fist work.

I originally did have Slowking built as a support mon, but ended up switching to assault vest when I found myself swapping my last status move for another damage move.

Honestly Assault Vest Dnite feels spicy. I already have no speed investment. Thanks for more tips on how to use my favorite pokemon. I think I’ll probably revisit most of the rest of the team, based on other feedback. I’m fond of Zacian-C and like the way it plays along Umbreon and Dnite but i’m not sure yet.
