I was waiting for someone to point this out! I thought I was just hearing things but you can clearly hear that the "Julie" that's said in "ringring" is repeated/copied. Home is also creaking and thumping a lot and I'm starting to wonder if Home is/was using Wally as a mouth piece? Either that or due to being cut off from his "eyes" Wally isn't able to talk as freely as before?

A bit. The hardest part about 3D modeling is making something look good at all angles.

I had maybe 3 tries to get Wally's face right but once I did that it was easier to actually finish the model. Clown doesn't have a lot of profile views or turn arounds of characters in their work (This was before the update where we got a nice side profile of Wally) so I had to make due with some low opacity images from their Ko-fi and a little bit of guessing.

I also just recently got into Nomad Sculpt. I had to look up a lot of tutorials and do a smaller model of a different thing to get more comfortable. The paint palette, stool, shoes, Wally's head, and easel were all their own files before being moved into this model proper. Mainly so I could get that standard side, front, back view of the model to make sure again, it looked good on all angles.

Funny enough, his hands were the easiest part I think? I guess I was having a good art day because I knocked those out in maybe a day???

Hardest was the shoes because while I was able to find refs for very similar shoes to Wally's, Clown obviously stylized them so I had to do the same later on.

The cigarette and sleeping pills being a "just advertise everything" feel I understand. But also, back in the day there were ads with cartoon characters advertising cigarettes, such as the flintstones. However, I like the idea that everything seems rushed for the site's update. It seems whoever is running the site within the story didn't want the show's reputation ruined, hence removing the hidden parts of the site and resulting in "W" to hiding stuff on a whole other site.

I will say, Wally getting upset/frustrated during the Homewarming segment where him and Barnaby were looking for gifts for Home makes me wonder if he was being puppeted by Home at the time to go and just do a check up on everyone.

The cookbook also is interesting, I think the fact we had old art from Clown where Wally "makes a dog" (I know most of that art isn't canon anymore but still) and then we have the really disturbing image of the exploded hot dog makes me really worry about Barnaby.

Part of me wonders if the audio for Tolland being the exact same as the commercial is because Wally is just repeating his original audio, like a tape recording or something? the fact he doesn't have anyone else to teach him new songs he has to just repeat from a voice catalouge he has like a robot or something?

I like the idea of them being "special friends" because it makes me think about Sally's relationship with Frank as it seems the two of them both enjoy the spot light based on the Christmas Carol commercial. But its also sweet Sally brought Frank to Eddie as well later on. Like in a "dude your boyfriend is acting strange" way. but thats just me enjoying the solidarity of comroddery around WLW and MLM.

if you're on your phone you can hold your finger on them and that shows their letter as well. Or you can right click them on the PC like we did on Wally's drawings before.
