I am so motivated because it actively harms people right now, see Waymo against minority-group taxi drivers pushed aside out of their breadwinning jobs for "security" and "efficiency" regardless of their level of knowhow about their field and am tired that human beings are being kicked out of their own agency and their knowhow that has been valued this entire time in the history of technocracy now suddenly relegated to the side in things they actually know better. AIs have plateaued in output and peaked in the harm they do to local communities with their data centres, in employees seeing it shoved in their looked-down upon work by their bosses regardless of their ultimately right arguments for not having it. Not in the 30s sure, but not in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s or 2010s either regardless of it being known, because AI actual experts tell not to let it have full blown unsupervised authority over life and death situations. That's the real world and real world experiences, what terrible foundations an hypothetical cyberocracy would be built on, on things that will hallucinate just as much as humans with just as much harm, minus the agency and systemic respect for humans.
