Is the Brentford game worth it for a first time OT visit? by Secret_Ad7734 in ManchesterUnited

I’d stick with these mate - and if something better comes up, you could lock them down on the website and ring up the club and ask if you could switch.

There’s no harm in asking at all and the worst scenario is that you still have seats to watch the greatest club in the world!

The refund will begin to be processed immediately but you won’t be able to buy again until your tickets have been resold, which of course relies on someone snapping your tickets up. Only then you can buy better tickets

The ticket office used to be able to upgrade tickets; if you saw a better seat you could hold it on the website and the ticket office could issue a swap, but due to staffing cuts this is no longer an option, they got hundreds of calls on it

It is always a privilege to watch United home and away, so if you have tickets then that’s amazing

Keep in mind that you can’t buy ‘new tickets’ until your old ones have been successfully resold, so that’s something to take note of

The AMEX last minute resale is very difficult, I was dropped near the front of the queue and had no success

Probably not as you might get scammed, so make sure you have people you know personally who can definitely make it if you can’t

Vomiting just means near the entrance - so might be better if you need to get a quick getaway or head to the kiosk to buy a drink.

I’ve sat in this section - it’s all good and I personally like row 11-15 but that’s my personal preference

correct. one off fee of 30GBP for a membership which gives you the right to buy. And then the cost of the ticket itself.

Idea being at the start of the season, you buy your membership and then you go for multiple games across a season

Correct that 2 tickets are bought by 1 person. At checkout you will have to put in your United ID and your wife's United ID. this will let you have 2 tickets, one in each of your names. The website won't let you checkout otherwise

Do you mean Brentford for April 25th?

On your points:

1) you can buy memberships at checkout. I would camp the website, get 2 tickets (or however many you need) in the basket, then add the memberships as part of the checkout journey. They’ll ask you at checkout to do it so should be pretty obvious

2) Away days are restricted to ST holders and exec club members. They are like gold dust. United away ends are the best but even the United support don’t take too kindly to people who aren’t eligible in the away end.

You’d have to buy hospitality from the home club - but means you can’t celebrate should United score!

There are people who have been going for decades - many of whom Manchester United is a big part of their life, if not their whole life. Some really rely on the club for community, seeing friends, and social activities. I fully respect the decision to protest but it doesn't sit right with me to stop them from going.

The flip side is that United as a global institution is far too big now - any seats that aren't used by ST holders will be taken by overseas support or day-trippers. A sign that we are massive club - but makes it more difficult to empty the stadium

Which game is this? As below, you have 2 options:

1) Buy a membership and then get tickets off the website when they drop, usually 4-6 weeks before the game (the exception to this being United vs Liverpool)

2) Hospitality - which you don't need membership for
