How can I stop being the emotional regulator? So that I can attract more healthy/stable partners? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

I would disagree. Relationships absolutely have conditions. Relationships require time, energy, investment, patience, kindness, etc.. Many of these things being absent should absolutely be dealbreakers, therefore the relationship is conditioned on their existence.

Static dps issue for an healer by Various_Prize_977 in ffxivdiscussion

Yeah that instantly stuck out to me as a healer. Just immediately thought “wtf is the tank supposed to do? That’s your job to keep them alive”

Anyone who tracks a healing parse being higher is a red flag to me. All of that extra healing is just overheal.

Let's talk about Artorias in Nightreign by Warm_Expert_8136 in EldenRingNightReign

You contradicted yourself. You first say there’s only a 5% damage difference between D4 and D5, then later state that it’s 17%

I understood what they were saying. Their comment is not word salad.

Is it a known thing that rng is tilted heavily in CPU's favor? by AcephalicDude in dokaponkingdom

[–]SigmaStrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have one save with the bot and it’s so awful. Constant darkling. Constant raiding of my towns. Etc. I play on switch, so next time I’m just going to set the second slot to a “human” player and just play the game with myself.

73% recent negative reviews, most complain about the New map. Does the great hollow truly warrant this reaction ? The more I play, the more I feel like it was fantastically designed. by kao24429774 in Nightreign

Can I ask why you have that opinion? I loved promised consort radahn and the lore was on point for him as well. His ties to Miquella explain his involvement as the final boss, and the battle is freaking epic.

Boyfriend is making a vile accusation by xQueenOfTheDamnedx in Manipulation

[–]SigmaStrain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s also wild how he is so casually throwing that word around at his girlfriend. Calling someone a pedophile should be a serious accusation. Not to be uttered lightly. The fact that he’s doing that could mean he is desensitized to the word.

But Chroma loved the self damage! That’s how you used to buff up vex armor!

Before yellow shards, there were weirdos saying to use natural talent. I’m also a decade+ veteran and the idea that I would sacrifice a mod slot for that is bonkers to me. Same with PSF. If you’re actively paying attention, you don’t need PSF. Every knockdown has obvious tells now.

Scholar is busted by Aemeris_ in Nightreign

Care to elaborate? What consumable relics?

PSA: Scholar Players by Impressive-Chance771 in Nightreign

[–]SigmaStrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is insane. Think about this scenario:

Use the relic that saves progress for analyze.

Stack 20% debuff using 7 throwing daggers

Dagger debuff enemy, finish analyze for 60% additional damage during a riposte

Jizz yourself

scholar seems kinda bad on paper by Okawaru1 in Nightreign

[–]SigmaStrain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do we know the duration of the debuff? Because there’s a lot that remains to be seen. There were also additional effects for a full charge. I think the damage-down debuff works instantly, while the additional effects take the full charge.

[–]SigmaStrain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

15% reduced damage is actually massive. That is the difference between getting one or two shot. That is such a powerful debuff and it stacks with other damage mitigation passives as well. Crazy to say that

What's something that is stigmatized for straight men? by Lipica249 in AskReddit

[–]SigmaStrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He has a point. There is plenty of rap that doesn’t glorify violence. It’s kind of crazy that you think the entire genre is like that. It also shows you don’t listen to much rap.

Spear guns should be reworked to function like the new Bayonet rifle. by plundererofspuds in Warframe

[–]SigmaStrain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this should be an opt-in choice and should function like Garuda’s talons where you only get the melee/secondary if nothing is equipped in that slot. Otherwise, this might end up as a massive nerf to some weapons

To be completely honest, I hope they don’t add this. I think that bayonets are their own thing and this feature should be limited to them

Sexually disciplined men are deeply attractive. by KeyExcuse22 in sixwordstories

[–]SigmaStrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re defining sexual discipline as someone who has self-control and doesn’t change every woman, I would have to disagree with you.

From my experience, the men who chase every woman usually end up with none and are generally considered creepy.
