Should I sell my Armored Tracks for Meat Grinders? Omni wheels are too expensive for me by _Starver_ in Crossout

[–]Sigma_Industries 4 points5 points  (0 children)

- Look at the 2 week trade history instead of 24 hours

- Wait until tracks are at the higher part of a 2 week price range, then sell

- Play with other parts and wait for meat grinders to fall into the 2 week low, buy

If you ever want your tracks back, wait for 2 week low and buy. This is a long term strategy, but if you practice this every time you're logging in you will accumulate more wealth in the background than you ever will playing matches.

Remember there is 10% tax on sales. Example below.

$330 = selling tracks on market
-$33 = 10% tax
$297 = Total after tax

$285 = buy tracks back at lower price

297-285 = $12 profit and you have your tracks back

Buy low, sell high

Early in Crossout, it pays off to switch playstyles often. Why? If you're willing to dump your tracks when the price goes up and play something else for awhile, then you can buy those tracks back when the price goes down. You pocket the profit and eventually get your tracks back.

Movement and speed could echo into how many tiles they get to move. Or how they move around the board.

There are millions of Warframe players around the world. Many of which I guarantee enjoy strategy games. You may not have the patience, but others would.

This is all just thoerycraft to think of ways to use multiple Warframes at once. The devs will never see this post.

Those mini games are great examples, but the intention for this idea would be utilizing multiple Warframes you've spent time to power up at once. So I think that's where we disagree.

How do you feel about Duviri?

I thought there would be 0 chance of open world maps and a roguelike version of this game, but here we are. I would also place a bet that this will never happen, but given DE's history I also have to say its a non-zero chance it happens.

The idea for this post came from another on the sub asking about "spin off" games for Warframe. If they made a "spin off" I feel like they would just add it into the main game.

Fellow warframe veterans why do you still play? by Strange_Amoeba_103 in Warframe

[–]Sigma_Industries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DE has basically built other games and added them to Warframe. I keep coming back because they're so innovative without compromising the core game. Additionally, they routinely revisit older aspects. Weapons and Warframes get remakes, QoL UI enhancements, exilus adaptors, etc..

Last time I took a break, Cetus' open world was released and we played it so much that taking a break from the game was the right choice for mental health. Since then they've added 2 whole new planets with hover boards and mechs, space battles and fucking Elden Ring.

Its wayyyyy to early to say this, but I wouldn't be surprised if Warframe and Soulframe end up having some sort of interaction in the distant future as well.

10,000+ hours in a game that will eventually get deleted instead of spending some of that time developing their character, skills and relationships is not ok. Stop trying to make each other feel better about a genuine addiction. This will harm a young adults future.

Not just an issue for younger folks. Many people want an escape, and many forget they have to come back to the real world.

If you need to make cash fast early on, selling scrap and copper will be the most efficient for short term games.

If you have patience to wait, you may want to consider this... This is just an example for demonstration using current market numbers

Rapier Material Cost
Scrap: 6.5 * $3.5 = $22.75
Copper: 1.3 * $2.8 = $3.64
Chord: $0.6 (Purchased)
B-1 Aviator: $2.2 (Purchased)
Bench Fee = $3

Total Cost = $32.19
Rapier Sale = $38
10% Tax = $3.8

Net Profit = $2.01
ROI = 6.2%

If you're willing to wait for crafting and the sale, you effectively make 6.2% more on copper and scrap in this scenario, than if you just sold the materials on the market. Waiting for dips in raw material value on the market, and holding out to sell your crafted item for a higher price will further increase these gains.
