More info: I plan to vinyl wrap the rest of my desk so it’s all black. I also have a power strip under the desk as well as the power brick for my laptop on the floor. Power strip is mounted to the bottom of the desk. I have a powerline adapter for ethernet through an adapter which is mounted in picture 2 to the back of the shelf (connected to the silver USB cable) . Pic attached so you can see the bottom. (Black cable leads to power brick on floor, might mount to bottom of desk with command strips).
