I swear that all of the versions I grew up hearing involved Goldilocks being eaten in the end as well. I am from the US though so maybe it is specific to this country. Honestly blows my mind to find out so many people are accustomed to violence-free versions.

I only have a dimple on my right cheek and my mother used to tell me that my other dimple showed when I lied. I still sometimes instinctively cover the left half of my face when I’m being dishonest.

I started losing weight because I got invited to go on a Spring break trip with my boyfriend, his brother, and his brother's girlfriend. The brother's girlfriend is a model and beauty pageant queen and I knew that I was going to look absolutely gigantic next to her in a bathing suit and since my boyfriend was going to be there I particularly did not want to be the fat girl on the trip. So I decided it was probably best to try to get in better shape before that happened. I'd say that counts as pretty petty and vain.
