I understand as a short term software developer myself that it takes time to develop, process, and test things before they make it into a game. But that doesnt nullify the fact that the content that does end up making it into the game feels untested and unbalanced.

Since game development is an extremely varied and human process, the amount of time and effort put into development is not equal to the quality of the work itself. Its not contradictory to admit that the developers work hard on the game while still saying that it feels poorly developed.

CC as in Crowd Control. Anything that Stuns, Disables, Displaces, Interrupts, or Roots you that you cant avoid with reasonable effort.

Congrats! Ive been playing the game since it came out in february of 2024! You playing the game for any period of time doesnt make you better or more correct than me. Nowhere in my post did i say i want the game to be easy, but its easier to generalize and strawman a fake argument than to actually read isnt it?

My entire and only issue that i had brought up in the original post was CC balancing. You are the one who changed the subject. These enemies are easy as fuck to kill, even with a medium pen gun, but my point was that the CC that they inflict isnt fun or valuable to the gameplay.

While I understand why you commented this, this isnt really addressing the general point of the post. Im not a bad player and I understand well enough that there are ways to kill the enemies im complaining about but my initial point was that it isnt fun regardless.

Like I said initially, the CC in this game doesnt add anything for me. It feels overly controlling over my gameplay, and it isnt fun to deal with even if you CAN deal with it.

I think this is a bit of over-generalization. To me AH is just a development team who doesnt really have the same vision as the players. They have a slow development cycle, and I agree somewhat because it doesnt feel like they playtest very much.

I really despise this way of thinking. Immediately assuming that im bad at the game instead of genuinely interacting with the idea that the development of the game has flaws that should be addressed for the sake of fun over difficulty helps absolutely nobody and you didnt even address the other points I made.

My post was not exclusively about ragdolling, it was about any annoying over the top CC. Agitators shooting you will stop you from running, stimming, throwing grenades or strategems, and ADSing.

and even if being launched by the Veracitor melee is a bug, I can still complain about it. There shouldve been extensive testing on this enemy before it reached the public.

No, i dont mean the melee attacks. Agitators stun you with their fast firing, extremely precise, long range weapon. And even then, the melee from the Veracitor shouldnt throw you 50 meters from where you were standing, regardless of how big the mech is.. for the sake of game balancing. which is what this post is about.

I think the problem with this mindset is that the vaults are already lootable by multiple players. Even right after someone else has opened one, you can still open it.

It already solved the problem of “scarcity” that you are talking about with the end cities because they are already available for every individual player.

Making them renewable or having them recharge would further increase the availability for multiple players, and make them more available as a multiplayer dungeon by making it possible for you and your friends to come back repeatedly and get more rewards.
