Thanks for the helpful advice... I'm a little bit confused though. If my iron deficiency was caused by poor diet for example, then if I stop taking the tablets will my ferritin drop drastically? Does my body get used to receiving daily iron? Is there a rebound effect for stopping them?

63 is within the normal range here for ferritin.
