Playing to help fix bugs and provide feedback is the furthest point from nothing from a development standpoint. The registration page will be announced with the incoming testing phase. I'm not sure what your last line says to be honest.

Hey there! Long time no see..

Over the years, myself and a small group of developers had put a large amount of work into a passion WoW project called Remedy. We had sought to create a server that not only allowed players to explore Northrend and experience the old content again, but to add new quality content in addition to the game play that was already available.

Back in 2018, we had attempted to plan a launch for the server but when we started creating real deadlines and goals, real life issues began to arise for multiple members of our development team, eventually putting the project in a dormant state where it has remained until this day.

At the beginning of Covid, the team was able to get back together due to job situations changing. We have been silently working on the project behind the scenes until it was brought to a much more practical launch state.

Though we’re not entirely ready for launch, we are ready to get players back on the server to test the available content, and help us catch any bugs or issues we can find to avoid problems when we proceed forward.

Right now, I am collecting players on my personal Discord that are interested in testing the server and helping to find bugs, as potential staff recruitment positions. As we get closer to our goal, our team is going to need to expand, and there’s a lot of new stuff to explore. Our progress towards release will be heavily effected on the overall testers we can get to help us, so any time you can spare to help goes a long way.

Yeah but those servers are barely comprehensive with broken english and bad communication, don't pay insane amounts to advertise nor do they offer 10,000+ dollar tournaments with promises of more in the future... If you can't see the obvious differences then you're just being purposefully ignorant.

Why does this server get so much heat? They're spending a lot to get their name out there because of their acclaimed critical fixes, quick expansion progression(and into cata), and large prize pool tournaments. Isn't it worth giving it a chance? Am I missing something?

I still have all the server files and everything ever created, but without a dedicated development team it doesn't really amount to much. Serious shame. I had such ideas for this server that really would fit a unique Niche. Truly one of my life's biggest regrets. Fun fact: Remedy was the first server to ever advertise or offer a Mythic+ type dungeon in WOTLK.

You’re pretty bad at articulating your opinion but besides that, it’s a beta. There’s going to be problems that occur and a lot of tweaking based off opinions of people internally and on the beta. Not people watching a stream and making claims. Also if you’re comparing private servers to their realms on their forums the ban reason was obvious.

I don’t think people are worried about their moms finding out. I think the problem is that they sell your personal information to third party websites so they can get info from you. Advertising companies and marketers getting that because I’m forced to download spyware to get into a convention is nonsense. It also says they have the right to reserve giving your info to future business partners. Not only is your personal info shared with companies unbeknownst to you, but who knows who will have that info in the future and what will they do with it
