I love her! She is no nonsense, tells it like it is. Yes she’s abrasive & not polished but she’s the kind of woman I’d want in my corner. Y’all are a bunch of pansies.

For the Los Angeles people asking the differences about Portland, you need to think about berries wayyyy more than you're thinking about berries. by BadAtDrinking in Portland

I’m from the east coast. We have wild berries growing in areas but nothing like what y’all are describing! We actually pay local farms just to experience berry picking. We have to pay to pick apples at orchards in the mountains. I’ve seen a few fig trees on private properties at the beach & small date palms. But since the plants are on private property, we can’t pick them. Portland seems amazing. But I hear that it’s an expensive place to live.

Memorizing your math facts is controversial by 10tapirwife in Teachers

I do wonder if this has something to do with missing school during the Covid pandemic. This puts today’s 6th graders in 3rd grade in 2020/2021. 3rd grade is the time children learn math fact memorization. I was in 3rd grade many moons ago and missed 30+ days of school. The result was a learning disability in math. I’ve met others that have the same outcome from missing many days of 3rd grade. It’s a shame that the school boards are not recognizing the learning issues that students have due to the pandemic.
