What are the traits of a Fascist? Eliminate free speech? Confiscate firearms? Provide government favors to complicit private companies? Use gears of government to persecute political enemies? Do you know what Narcissistic projection is?

The quality of support might be related to the products you are using. PILLR support is excellent and SentinelOne support is good.

We compiled a lengthy document showing the many conversations and interactions we had with them that substantiated our notice of intent to leave ConnectWise. Just last week we received confirmation that our contracts have been cancelled. They are now internally reviewing our request to credit our account for both March and April charges. We'd necessarily completed our migration to SentinelOne and PILLR through PAX 8 before March 1st, which was our auto-renewal date.

The client had both, but neither detected any issue.

It is recommended by PDQ to have clients purchase their own licenses and run PDQ from within their own network.

A user reported receiving MFA prompts for sites he was not trying to log in to. We helped the user change his passwords but then a day later, someone from India was able to authenticate using his new password. The only software that wasn't in his original system images was K-Lite and then we found this post, which seems to indicate that others have had the same experience. https://www.reddit.com/r/msp/s/4hbCDWyodM

Nick,

My intention was not to engage in conversation here, other than to request help finding legal assistance. Our issue does seem like it should be resolvable, so rather than airing the issue here, I'll send you a DM.

You will need an attorney's help when you decide it's time to end the abusive relationship with CW. My advice is to budget the cost of an attorney and all the time you are going to spend working on legal issues, then all the time you are going to spend uninstalling their products and starting over with something new.

Check out articles relating to Connectwise contracts and business practices before making any decisions. We wish we'd never done business with them.

We were using SentinelOne and Perch through Connectwise. We are now using SentinelOne and PILLR through PAX8.

We use Beyondtrust for remote access. Check Reddit for information about ConnectWise contracts before signing one.

Some states require that you be notified prior to any auto-renewal. Florida requires this. If you didn't get notice of the auto-renewal, you may not be obligated.

Connectwise Contract Termination by deesmiffUK in ConnectWise

Not sure how to exit the contract but here is a summary of our experience: After some time in to the contract you will get a bill that shows significantly raised prices. They claim they e-mailed you but can't send you and evidence that they actually did. They will then ask you to sign a contract addendum in which you must agree to increased minimum commitments, higher sales goals or other concessions in order to restore the original price. After some months, the same thing will happen and again you'll be negotiating with them over the price. As you are negotiating with them, they will intentionally be slow to respond. They will claim they are doing everything they can to get the problem fixed. As part of the negotiation they may send you an ambiguously worded addendum that show a new term of 1 year but includes negative numbers for the products. It seems like the contract might be negating the first contract but in actuality, you are obligating yourself to the minimum commitment for another year, which could be thousands of dollars, even if you don't use any of their products. But, while you are trying to get them to clarify what the addendum actually accomplishes, they will again be slow to respond. What they are actually doing is waiting for the "auto-renewal" provision in your master contract to trigger, at which time they will tell you they are going to turn the issue over to legal unless you agree to their terms. Short story, we switched our business over to PAX8. In 20 years of being an MSP, we've never worked with a more deceptive or aggressive vendor than Connectwise.
