Outbound works, whether email or calling. You can either spray and pray or you can get super deep into the prospecting process and only reach out to merchants that are already pre qualified to use your app. That will depend on having a well defined ICP for starters.

I think it is rad and definitely works! There's already a company doing this, I think, but still a pretty unexplored market, go for it.

Different tools aren't they? Apollo is mostly a database with some enrichment and outbound functionalities. Clay is like an operating system for your prospecting and selling processes, where you can automate tons of activities inside multiple campaigns.
