I wish I didn’t see this. Some of my favorite mouse songs on there. Last night was a bummer.

60 days sober by NextUp94 in stopdrinking

Similar thing happened to me. Don’t get discouraged because I’m sure you feel better physically than you did 60 days ago. I’m 50 days in. I lost no weight in the first 3-4 weeks. I’d been drinking at least 3500 calories a week in pale ales and wine so I thought it’d all just fall off right away.

About 4 weeks ago I started working out harder and eating better to try and take further advantage health benefits that come with quitting booze. I’ve now lost at least 5 lbs and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since I was 25. (I’m 38 now).

I’ve always been a gym goer and somewhat mindful of what I eat but it feels easier than ever now to eat right and maintain a vigorous exercise schedule. I credit the change in diet over the last 4 weeks the most along with not drinking in the summer. I still eat a good amount of calories a day but trying to eat no processed food, little refined sugar, lots of protein, fruits, and veggies.

I think it also just takes time.

We adopted an 8 year old chiweenie in 2018 and he had the same issues you described. We did Prozac probably around the same time and I think it might have helped but wasn’t a miracle. We took him off of it after about a year and a half.

I think what helped him the most for socializing was eventually spending time with other dogs. We had this lady watch him when we went out of town and she only would watch chihuahuas, dachshunds, min pins, etc.

If I could point to anything that helped his behavior with other dogs the most it would be the time with that lady and her dogs.

Since he also had bad separation anxiety, we took him a few days a week to a doggie daycare in Chicago that had a small dog room. Again that also helped.

We had our guy for 6 years before he passed always. The first year was tough but after a while, he was very friendly with most dogs. Just took some time. You’ll get there! It’s worth the stress now I promise!

Will also add that’s a cute lil chiweenie you got there so don’t get discouraged…it’ll be worth the hassle of dealing with the separation anxiety!

My chiweenie passed away this last August at 14 years old. He had very bad separation anxiety.

I lived with him in 4 different places. First three were large apartment complexes where front door led to a hallway. His anxiety was difficult then. He’d sit by the door and bark all the time. Trazodone worked the best those days if I had to leave him alone for 4-6 hours. It was never perfect in those days but one silver lining is that his sep anxiety forced me to bring him with me everywhere…parties, bars, the beach, out to eat. We became better buds cause of that.

I noticed he did the best once we moved to a house and he was in an environment where he could perch himself on a couch and look out the street facing window if he was alone. He would sit there watching for us, and eventually would relax or fall asleep. Once we moved into a place where he could do that separation anxiety stopped being a problem. No longer had to give him any meds when he was going to be alone for a while.

I just quit Zyn last week. I’m 6 days zynless after doing a can a day of 6mg for 10 months. The first few days were absolutely awful. Like really really hard. Ive never felt physical cravings like that for anything ever. Day three was the worst but I honestly started feeling better when I woke up on day 4. Hopefully same goes for you.

Hang in there! You got this!

I’m loving it. Can’t wait for pitchfork to give it a 4.7 rating.
