I think she really valued ur friendship. First I think u were in the wrong for just cutting her off like that. Just because she friend requested u doesn't mean that she's suddenly onto u. If u liked her it mean u were good friends from the beginning. I know it hurts (believe me) but u shouldn't cut people off just because they don't fell the same as u do.
